Abstract: PURPOSE: A device of transceiving digital broadcasting video signals is provided to add a step of reproducing constant luminance signals during gamma correction, to minimize color information lost during a conversion process, thereby reproducing colors that are not expressed in an existing broadcasting video signal. CONSTITUTION: An input unit inputs video signals. A camera gamma linearizer(301) converts the inputted video signals into linearized R, G, B video signals to remove gamma characteristics of a camera. A luminance signal calculator(302) calculates a luminance signal by using the linearized R, G, B video signals. A gamma converter(303) performs a gamma conversion for the calculated luminance signal and the linearized B, R video signals, by applying the gamma characteristics. A color difference signal calculator(304) calculates the gamma-converted B, R video signals as broadcasting color difference signals. An output unit outputs the gamma-converted luminance signal and the broadcasting color difference signals.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of controlling gamma of a color printer using a monitor is provided to make R, G, B scale images of the monitor and gray/R, G, B sample images of the printer have the same intervals, thereby resolving differences between color images of the monitor and printed color images. CONSTITUTION: A gamma control system displays gray and R, G, B scale images on a monitor(501). The system prints 9-step images of the gray and the R, G, B scale images(502), and compares a printed image with an image displayed on the monitor(503). The system searches two points having the same color in a gray scale of the monitor for the first and the ninth gray patches from a gray scale of the printed image, and clicks the two points(504). The system searches 7 points having the same color in the gray scale of the monitor for the second to the eighth gray patches, and clicks the points(505). The system clicks other points having the same color for the first and the ninth samples from the rest R, G, B scales of the printed image, and searches 7 points having the same color from a color scale of the monitor for the second to the eighth patches of each color, then clicks the 7 points(506). The system obtains 9 monitor scale data per channel for the gray/R, G, B scale images(507).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for mapping a monitor RGB to a printer RGB is provided to accord an image color on a monitor with a printed image color by outputting an RGB standard sample image of a color monitor and changing a color value on the monitor by comparing to the output and making a table for an RGB mapping of an RGB of a color monitor and an RGB of a color printer and converting all images into new RGB images based on the table and converting the RGB images into CMYK(cyan, magenta, yellow, black) signals and outputting the signals. CONSTITUTION: In a matching method for a monitor RGB and a printer RGB for according an image on a monitor with a printed image, a standard color sample is printed through a printer. Each color value of the monitor is adjusted for conforming two colors by comparing a standard color sample with the image on the monitor. The adjusting amount of the color value is stored in a reference table. An RGB of an image to be printed is corrected using the reference table and the corrected image is printed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and a method for detecting illumination circumstances by using digital image are provided to gain the information about illumination circumstances, which are used for gaining the color digital image by using a color digital image input instrument. Abstract: PURPOSE: An automatic monitor correction method is provided to be capable of always keeping a monitor to a fixed standard state by comparing/ analyzing the voltage data measured with a sensor with the standard data and adjusting voltages of voltage supply devices of red, green, blue supplying the voltages to the electron guns of the monitor. Abstract: PURPOSE: A color coordinates moving apparatus between a color display device and an output device and the method thereby are provided to compensate a color image discordance status between a color image display device and an output device with the moving rector considering an individually expressible color domain. CONSTITUTION: A color coordinates moving apparatus(20) is composed of a standard image conversion processor(21), a memory(22), a basic moving vector operation processor(24), a color coordinate moving processor(25) and an output image conversion processor(26).
