Abstract: A customized channel management apparatus in an IP based broadcasting service is provided to enable a group manage to monitor and manage a broadcasting program directly provided through a customized channel that each viewer programs, thereby blocking harmful contents. A personal customized channel management apparatus(202) comprises a monitoring channel selecting message receiving unit(210), a monitoring channel providing unit(220) and a harmful channel blocking unit(230). The monitoring channel selecting message receiving unit receives a monitoring channel selecting message including information of a monitoring channel selected for a monitoring target of a group manager(204). The monitoring channel providing unit transmits a broadcasting program provided in the monitoring channel in real time to the group manager according to the monitoring channel selecting message received in the monitoring channel selecting message receiving unit. When the harmful channel blocking unit receives a harmful determination message from the group manager, the harmful channel blocking unit terminates the broadcasting program provision of the monitoring channel.
