Abstract: PURPOSE: A data streaming service providing method and apparatus thereof are provided to adaptively control the size of a file piece in a streaming service method based on a P2P(Peer to Peer) according to network states, kinds of services, and terminal states. CONSTITUTION: A buffer map calculation unit(107) creates a buffer map based on information for file pieces and the bunch of file pieces included in each peer. The buffer map calculation unit deducts necessary file piece numbers by comparing buffer map information of each peer received through a communication unit. A data transmission unit(111) transmits the bunch of the file pieces or the file piece data by referring to the deducted file piece number through the buffer map calculation unit. A transmission speed confirmation unit(113) confirms a transmission speed.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A transmission method capable of transmitting an emergency call is provided to detect location information of an internet phone from a location information management server of an internet service provider. CONSTITUTION: An internet phone connected to network transmits DHCP(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) request in a DHCP server of an internet service provider(S110). The DHCP server transmits the DHCP to the internet phone(S120). By using a transmitted location information management server, the internet phone transfers location information request to a location information management server(S130). The location information management server transfers the location information response to the internet phone(S140). An emergency call including the detected location information is generated/transferred.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A registered data synchronization method is provided to synchronize data, registered by a user, among plural registrars within the same intra domain if there exist plural SIP(Session Initiation Protocol) servers in one ISP(Internet Service Provider) domain and the registrars, who manage the user addresses, are plural. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. Registrar data is changed and a synchronization operation is performed whenever a user registers current position data via a register message(S200). An SIP server, receiving the register message, compares a destination address of the register message with that of the registrar(S202). If there is no matched one in the step S202, the server generates a new record, and stores the destination address and the contact address of the register message at the new record(S204). If there is matched one in the step S202, the server checks whether the contact address of the register message is the same as that of the registrar(S206). If they are identical, the first step, S200, is repeated, but if they are not identical, the server changes the contact address of the registrar with that of the register message(S208). The server checks whether a register is requested within the same domain(S210). If so, the server checks whether an existing record of the registrar is changed(S212). Otherwise, the server checks whether a new record, corresponding to the destination address of the register message, is generated(S222). The server checks whether there exists an upper level SIP address and registrar(S214, S224). If so, the server upstreams an up synchronization message for requesting an addition or a modification with new generated or changed data(S216, S226). If there does not exist an upper level SIP address and registrar in the step S214, the server downstreams a down synchronization message for requesting a deletion of prior data(S220).
