Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for providing a video conference service by linking a plurality of multipoint conference units (hereinafter, referred to as ″MCUs″) of a video conference server. The method for providing a video conference service comprises the steps of performing control such that a video conference room is opened by an MCU in response to a request from a terminal; when the number of terminals requesting connection to the opened video conference room exceeds the total number of connectors, which can be accepted by the MCU, connecting one or more extra terminals to one or more other MCUs which can accept the extra terminals; and receiving a video and an audio from a terminal of a speaker and relaying the video and the audio to the two or more MCUs.

Abstract: A system and a method for seamlessly providing a real-time multimedia service are provided to seamlessly offer watched broadcasting contents by matching a property of a changed terminal even if a user changes the terminal during watching.
