Abstract:
본 발명은 응용 서비스 사업자와 종단 사용자인 종단간(End-to-end)에 협상 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 자세하게는 이종 망에서 서비스 레벨 보증서에 근거한 응용 서비스 사업자와 종단 사용자간 협상 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 이종 망에서 서비스 레벨 보증서에 근거한 종단간 협상 장치 및 방법은 서로 다른 프로토콜을 실행하는 이기종 시스템들로 구성된 이종 망상에서 서비스를 제공하는 응용 서비스 사업자와 상기 응용 서비스 사업자가 제공하는 멀티미디어 서비스를 이용하는 종단 사용자, 이들 사이에 제공되는 서비스의 수준을 결정하기 위해 협약된 서비스 레벨 보증서 및 종단간 협상을 위해 오프라인으로 구축되는 SIQ로 이루어짐에 기술적 특징이 있다. 따라서, 본 발명의 이종 망에서 서비스 레벨 보증서에 근거한 종단간 협상 방법 및 그 장치는 각 시스템의 특성에 알맞은 서비스 레벨 보증서를 오프라인으로 구축하고 이를 근거로 종단간 QoS 협상 방안을 제공하여 가입자에게 무결정성 서비스를 제공할 수 있으며, 사업자에게는 효율적으로 사용자의 QoS를 제어할 수 있는 효과가 있다. Abstract:
A method for performing a handover includes: (a) a wireless network controller receiving a handover request message from the mobile station; (b) during an acknowledgement of the handover of the mobile station after receiving the handover request message, the wireless network controller generating a TCP proxy and converting a terminal connection TCP to a split connection TCP; (c) the TCP proxy acknowledging the reception of a packet from the server during the handover on behalf of the mobile station; (d) the TCP proxy storing a packet received from the server in a cache; and (e) upon receiving a handover registration message, the wireless network controller transmitting the packet stored in the cache to the mobile station.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A method and a system for distributing traffic loads in a mobile station are provided to compare a power strength reference value of a pilot channel received from a serving base station in a corresponding cell with a power strength of a pilot channel received from a new base station, so as to quickly decide whether to perform soft handover to the new base station. CONSTITUTION: A handover region deciding unit receives and analyzes a message that requests traffic loads distribution(S201), to check whether a power strength reference value of a pilot channel received from a serving base station is smaller than a power strength of a pilot channel received from a new base station(S202). If so, soft handover to the new base station is decided(S203), and if not smaller, general handover is performed(S204). A handover performing unit decides whether to register the new base station in an active set of a corresponding mobile station(S205). A state checking unit checks whether the active set of the mobile station is in a saturation state(S206). If not, the new base station is registered in the active set of the mobile station(S207). If the active set is in a saturation state, a base station eliminating unit eliminates the serving base station in accordance with a predetermined formula(S208). And a base station replacing unit replaces a base station having the worst pilot strength among base stations registered in the active set of the mobile station by a base station having the best pilot strength among base stations registered in a monitoring set in accordance with a predetermined formula, thereby performing speed soft handover to the new base station(S209).
