Abstract: PURPOSE: A door latch for restricting jam of a vehicle is provided to prevent jam in pulling an inside handle indoors or pulling an outside handle outdoors in not releasing locking of a safety lock lever completely. CONSTITUTION: A door latch of a vehicle is composed of a release lever(3) installed in a door latch housing(H) to release locking of a door selectively with turning; an outside lever(20) moved up and down in pulling an outside handle by interlocking with the outside handle, and installed in the door latch housing; a jam preventive lever inserting a return spring in the middle of the outside lever, and pressing the release lever in moving down the outside lever; and a safety lock lever installed in the lower part of the door latch housing to adjust contact of the outside lever and the jam preventive lever with moving up and down. Jam of the vehicle is prevented by pressing the release lever elastically with the jam preventive lever.
