Abstract: A position control device of a head-up display apparatus is provided to increase visibility of the head-up display apparatus in spite of pitch, roll or yaw corresponding to road condition while traveling by interlocking the head-up display apparatus according to movement of an iris of a driver. A position control device of a head-up display apparatus is composed of a pitch-roll detecting sensor(10) detecting pitch or roll of a vehicle, a yaw detecting sensor(12) detecting yaw of the vehicle, an iris detecting sensor(20) detecting movement of an iris of a driver, a pitch-roll unit processing signals from the pitch-roll detecting sensor, a yaw unit(16) processing signals from the yaw detecting sensor, a head-up display memory(22) memorizing information on driver's visibility detected by the iris detecting sensor, a head-up display unit(18) real-time mapping and controlling the head-up display and a mirror, and a head-up display and mirror driving unit(24) controlling position of the head-up display and the mirror according to control signals from the head-up display unit.
