Abstract: PURPOSE: A door of a vehicle is provided to enhance the traveling experience by removing a gap between a door glass run and a door frame molding member and by preventing the invasion of a noise to the interior of a vehicle and to promote the quality by improving appearance. CONSTITUTION: Many doors are installed at both sides of a vehicle. Door glasses(2) are installed in the doors to communicate the exterior with the interior or to isolate the exterior from the interior. A door frame(3) surrounding the outer sides of the door glass consists of a door outer frame(3a) and a door inner frame(3b). One ends of the door outer frame and the door inner frame are firmly combined by welding. The other ends of the door outer frame and the door inner frame are combined by a door glass run(4) integrally formed with a door frame molding member(7). While the door frame molding member is stuck to the side of the door outer frame, airtightness is kept by a molding combination clip(8) penetrating through the door outer frame. Thus, the invasion of an external noise to the interior of a vehicle is avoided. The side of the door outer frame is inclined to improve assembling efficiency.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Structure of a glass run for a vehicle door having a shock absorbing function is provided to prevent the generation of noise by absorbing a shock when a glass collides against a glass run of door roof side. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorbing tube(83) having an armed section is formed in the center of the inner upper end portion of a glass run(8). Shock absorbing ribs(84) extending to the upper end inner surface of a roof side frame(3) are formed in the central outer portion of the glass run. If a glass(7) keeps ascending, the upper end portion of the glass pushes up the shock absorbing tube. Then, the shock absorbing tube is deformed, and the air in the tube is compressed. Thus, the upper end portion of the glass is prevented from applying a shock to the frame. Further, the shock generated due to the ascending of the glass is absorbed secondly.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Structure of a delta cover and a glass run and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve appearance, and to reduce noise by restricting the step between the delta cover and the glass run and by excluding difference of color. CONSTITUTION: A delta channel(112) and a run channel(114) are formed by a press, and combined with welding. A delta cover(1-1) and a glass run(1-2) are integrally formed in the outside of the combination structure of the delta channel and the run channel. The delta channel is assembled with the run channel, and the glass run is formed with extrusion-molding. The combination structure of the delta channel and the run channel and the extrusion-molded glass run are placed in an injection mold. EPDM(Ethylene Propylene Diene terpolymers) rubber is injection-molded in the exposed part of the delta cover and the run channel. Appearance is improved with excluding difference of color, and noise is reduced with restricting the step between the delta cover and the glass run.
