    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller capable of securing stable toner electrifying property even in the case of using over a long term, and surely reproducing an excellent image over a long period, by improving the conductivity stability and contamination resistance, while preventing other property such as the adhesive strength owing to hardness lowering from being deteriorated, by reforming of the roller surface.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a developing member which can not only obtain a high-quality image with low friction but also does not dispersion in performance in the production and a developing device using the developing member, and a conductive member applied to electrifying, transferring and cleaning devices and an electrophotographic device or an electrostatic recorder using the conductive member. CONSTITUTION:As for the developing member for visualizing an electrostatic latent image by bringing an elastic layer carrying non-magnetic one-component developer into contact with an electrostatic latent image holding body, the conductive member functioning as the developing member is obtained by forming a 1st coating layer consisting of an elastic body 3 whose volume resistivity rho1 is OMEGAcm on a conductive supporting body 2 and further a 2nd coating layer whose volume resistivity rho2 satisfies rho2/rho1>=1000 and which is principally composed of any of soluble nylon, urethane- modified acrylic resin, modified polycarbonate and fluororesin, which does not contain conductive powder, on the 1st coating layer. Then, the conductive member as the developing member whose hardness is low, which is excellent in close adhesion property, which does not contaminate a photoreceptor, which has low friction, and where the dispersion in performance is not caused in the production, is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the contamination of members with which respective conductive members come into contact, by a conductive member subjected to a surface treatment with a coupling agent and to develop the performance which is entirely equal to untreated members in performance as the electrostatic charging member. CONSTITUTION:The surfaces of the conductive members for an electrophotographic device including (a) the electrostatic charging member 11 which electrostatically charges body to be electrostatically charged by pressing the member to this body and impressing voltage between the member and the body to be electrostatically charged, (b) a developer carrying member 1 which has thin film of a developer formed on its surface by carrying the developer and visualizes an electrostatic latent image by adhering the developer from the thin film to the electrostatic latent image on the surface of a latent image holding member 5 by coming into contact with the latent image holding member 5 which holds the latent image on the surface in this state and (c) a transfer member 8 which electrostatically charges the transfer paper and transfers the developer to transfer paper from the electrostatic latent image visualized by the developer by (b), etc., are treated by the coupling agent.
