    Abstract: A magnet roller comprises a magnet body portion and a shaft portion formed integral with each other. The roller also comprises a plurality of poles in which the magnetic force between a magnetic pole having a maximum magnetic force and another magnetic pole having a minimum magnetic force differs by 100 G or more. Also disclosed is a molding method for manufacturing a magnetic roller. In molding the magnetic mixture, the magnetic body portion (1) of the magnet roller is pushed by ejection pins (4) to thereby remove the magnet roller from a mold (31,32). Alternatively, a gate is provided in the mold at a position corresponding to the outer circumferential surface or the end surface of the magnet body portion or the outer circumferential surface of the shaft portion, and the bonded magnet composition is injected through the gate into the mold cavity. The magnet roller may have an aluminium sleeve in which the inner diameter of the sleeve is X mm and the outer diameter of the magnet roller is (X - 4) to (X - 0.2) mm. Alternatively, the roller may have a resin outer layer whose elongation at break defined by JIS K7113 is 10% or less is formed on the sleeve surface. A developing device is configured by using the developing roller.

    Abstract: A magnet roller composed of a magnet body portion and a shaft portion integral with each other is produced by moulding a mixture of a resin Sr ferrite whose Sr/Ba ratio is 1 to 100. There is also disclosed a roller with a plurality of poles in which the magnetic pole having a maximum magnetic force and another magnetic pole having a minimum magnetic force differs by 100 G or more. In molding the magnetic mixture, the magnetic body portion (1) of the magnet roller is pushed by ejection pins (4) to thereby remove the magnet roller from a mold (31, 32).     Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make surely reproducible a good image for a long time by easily and surely controlling the compatibility between toner and a developing roller, and surely preventing high potential fogging from occurring without the occurrence of an image defect caused by image memory and normal fogging. SOLUTION: As to this developing method, developer 4 for positive electrification is carried on the surface of a developing roller 1, so that the thin layer of the developer 4 is formed, a charge is directly injected to this developer, and the developer is supplied to the surface of the latent image holding body 3 and an electrostatic latent image on the surface of the body 3 is visualized by the rotation of the roller 1 along the surface of the body 3 in a state where the roller 1 is brought into contact with or proximate to the body 3. In this case, an ionized potential on the surface of the developer 4 is set as 4.5 to 5.5 eV, the ionized potential on the surface of the roller 1 is adjusted equal to or below the ionized potential on the surface of the developer 4 by using carbon black of >=pH 5 as the developer, and the developing is performed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a uniform image whose environment dependency is reduced and whose quality is excellent without having density unevenness and surface fogging, and also to attain an excellent gradation performance. SOLUTION: This roller 1 is constituted so as to supply an image forming body 3 with toner 4 by being brought into contact with or being adjacent to it and to form a visible image on the surface of the image forming body 3. In this case, the roller 1 possesses a resin layer and an elastic layer consisting of a resin material whose resistance is low, and also a difference between the maximum value and the minimum value of a roller resistance at the time of rotating in a roller peripheral direction by applied voltage 100 V is set to be within 1.0 by logarithm. Also, the roller 1 is attached to this device.
