Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a physiological napkin which possesses the excellent liquid leak preventing performance, flap strength, installation performance and the using feeling by forming a flap extending from both the sides of a center absorptive body out of a film which is formed out of a material having a specific value of resin density and has a specific value of unit. CONSTITUTION:A physiological napkin 30 has a liquid-impermeable back sheet 2, absorptive body 3, and a flap 20 which is formed from a liquid-permeable top sheet 1 and extends from both the side parts of a center absorptive body part 10. The flap 20 consists of a film which has a weight of 30-90g/m and is made of the material having a resin density of 0.91-0.94g/cm . The surface of the flap 20 is embossing-treated, and the flap 20 is made of the mixture of at least two kinds of resin. Accordingly, the flap strength increases, and the proper toughness and touch feeling are developed, and the transfer in manufacturing is facilitated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the surface material of absorbent articles having liquid permeability, liquid return preventiveness, to eliminate the danger of returning temporarily absorbed liquid back to the skin side, installability not to feel the sense of incompatibility in the case of installation and shielding ability for hiding the color of the absorbed liquid so as not to appear on the surface. CONSTITUTION:A surface material 2 for the absorbent article is provided with a large number of apex parts 5 respectively composed of convex curved faces, a large number of bottom parts and wall parts 7 to respectively link these parts. Each hole part 4 is formed by a linked apex part 5, wall part 7 and bottom part 6 and respectively provided with opened hole 5a between the apex parts 5, space 7a between the wall parts 7, and opened hole 6a on the bottom part 6. The open holes 5a, spaces 7a and open holes 6a are communicated to form communicated holes 8 for liquid permeation, and the communicated holes 8 are provided with a minimum cross-sectional area part 5b between an open hole part 5f at an upper edge part 5e on the side of the apex part 5 and an open hole part 6f at a free edge part 6e on the side of the bottom part. An opening area is increased from this minimum part 5b to the upper edge part 5e and the opening area is made equal or increased toward the free edge part 6e.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the production of rustling noise at the handling of packed article, improve tire appearance of heat-sealed part and enhance the sealing strength by a structure wherein a first layer is made of porous layer, which contains polyolefin-based resin, filler and plasticizer and has specified voids, and a second layer is made of polyolefin-based resin. CONSTITUTION:The packing film concerned is film having double-layer construction and consists of first layer and second layer. The first layer contains polyolefin-based resin, filler and plasticizer and is porous layer having the voids of 10-50%. Void contributes to the suppression and reduction of rustling noise. The second layer is heat-fusible adhesive resin layer made of polyolefin-based resin. The packing film concerned can be formed by inflation method or T-die technique. Concretely, firstly, film is formed and then uniaxially. stretched so as to obtain porous film. Next, heat-fusible adhesive resin is bonded to the film by lamination. In this case, by using a multi-layer die, two form layers, which form two layers of the packing film concerned, are co-extruded and preferably stretched in succession.

For the ethylene tetrafluoride resin unbaked sheet formed as the housing cylinder 3, the first part with a small stretch, namely, a molecule orientation degree in a lengthwise direction is 70% or above at the time of the formation, and the second part with e large stretch, namely, the molecule orientation degree in a direction eight-angled to an A direction is 50% or above. At the time of inserting the applicator, a holding part 6 is held, the applicator is inserted as it is, then, it is locked at a large diameter part, an inserting edge position is automatically decided, and since the housing part 3 is flexible, has a small resistance and stretches not longitudinally but laterally, the insertion is easy.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a porous film having a flexible touch, good moisture- permeability, leakproofness and strength, by melt-molding a composition comprising a polyolefin resin, a filler and a specified polyester mixture into a film and stretching this film. CONSTITUTION:A porous film obtained by melt-molding a composition comprising a polyolefin resin, a filler and the following third component into a film and stretching this film. As said third component, a mixture of a monoester A comprising a monobasic acid and a monohydric alcohol with a polyester B comprising a polybasic acid and a polyhydric alcohol is used. The monoester A of the third component contributes to an improvement in the moisture permeability and longitudinal tear resistance of the porous film, and the polyester B of the third component contributes to an improvement in its moisture permeability and appearance. The proportions of the polyolefin resin, the filler and the third component are preferably such that 50-250pts.wt. filler and 5-50pts. wt. third component are used per 100pts.wt. polyolefin resin.
