Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve turning performance. SOLUTION: In a work machine interposing a belt type continuously variable transmission 8 and a forward/backward moving switching mechanism 9 in a condition connected in series in a transmission system from an engine 7 to a right/left running device 1R, 1L, in a final transmission shaft 12 of the transmission system, respective axle 13R, 13L of the running device 1R, 1L is interlocked through planet gear mechanisms 14R, 14L, a turning continuously variable transmission 15 able to be forward/reverse switched is provided, which changes a rotational speed of the axle 13R, 13L by respectively rotating rotary elements R, L without being used in input/output of the rotary element constituting these planet gear mechanisms 14R, 14L. An interlocking means is provided, which actuates the turning continuously variable transmission 15 so as to rotate the rotary element R or L corresponding to a turn inside of the running device 1R, 1L in an axle rotational speed decrease direction interlocked with turn operation of a turn appliance 16.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt type continuously variable transmission for quickly varying speed in the system where its speed-change drive mechanism slides its movable sheave, while preventing its belt and pulleys from causing frictional sounds. SOLUTION: A belt type continuously variable transmission employs a system, in which the actuation of switches S1 and S2 through the operation of a gearshift starts up a variable speed motor 35 at lower speed to thus slide a movable sheave 4b at lower speed such that it quietly starts to move a belt 9 running therein. After the lapse of a set period after the start-up of the motor 35, the transmission speeds up the motor 35 to quickly slide the sheave 4b such that it quickly moves the belt 9.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expedite speed change in a belt-drive continuously variable transmission, in which a speed-change drive mechanism slides a pulley part to change speed smoothly, while making the belt and the pulleys of the transmission hardly cause frictional sounds. SOLUTION: A belt-drive continuously variable transmission employs a system, in which the operation of a gearshift 37 swings a switch operating arm 36 to switch a switch S2 on, upon which a variable speed motor rotates an operating gear 34 to rotate an operating cylinder 33 and thus to slide a pulley part 4b by means of rollers 32 and a pulley operating body 31. When a transmission belt 9 runs in a pulley 4 at its radially inner inclined positions, the transmission automatically slows down the motor to slide the pulley part 4b at lower speed. When the belt 9 runs in the pulley 4, on the other hand, at its radially outer inclined positions, the transmission automatically speeds up the motor to slide the pulley part 4b at higher speed.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To damp sufficiently hydraulic shock which acts on a traveling clutch in switching a selector valve to a transmitting condition. SOLUTION: This traveling transmission device is constituted so as to transmit power to a traveling device through a hydraulic traveling clutch C which reversibly-changes to a transmitting condition with pressure oil supply and provided with a selector valve 31 on a pressure oil supplying passage 30 to the traveling clutch C, which is capable of conducting selection freely between a transmitting condition for supplying pressure oil to the traveling clutch C and a non-transmitting condition of relieving pressure oil. A hydraulic actuator 43, which conducts switching operation of a travelling brake B formed at a transmitting passage from the traveling clutch C to a traveling device against energizing force by a spring 42 from a braking condition to a brake releasing condition with pressure oil supply, is connected to the pressure oil supplying passage 30 so as to supply pressure oil to the transmitting condition by means of the selection of the selector valve 31.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cool a belt continuous variable transmission mechanism assembled in a gear transmission by the use of its structure. SOLUTION: A transmission unit 21 is provided with an advancing/reversing changeover gear mechanism, advancing and reversing hydraulic clutches therefor, and a control valve which control their changeover. The transmission unit 21 is directly mounted on an outer surface of a transmission case 2a. In an operation oil cooling circuit L, oil discharged from the transmission unit 21 to which discharge oil from a hydraulic pump 16 is fed is extracted from an outlet 22 inside the transmission case 2a and returned to the hydraulic pump 16 through an oil cooler 17. A belt case 1a of a belt continuously variable transmission mechanism 1 for providing a transmission 2 with power is directly connected to the transmission case 2a for easy heat conduction.
