Thereby, the computing processing of the height is carried out in the case of the target convergent state in which the deviation between the computed ground height and the target ground height is kept within a set tolerance by prolonging the set distance as compared with that of a nonconvergent state in which the deviation is beyond the set tolerance and increased.

The control device 60 immediately commands a straight advancing travel state if the turning operating lever 58 is in a straight advance command position TS. When the state of the turning operating lever 58 being operated into first operating areas L1, R1 continues for the set time or longer, the control device 60 commands a shift into second operating areas L2, R2 larger in turning force.
