Abstract: PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the heat radiating effect of a communication pipe, by arranging a refrigerant pump in the raised section of the coolant gas inlet side of the communication pipe so that the refrigerant pump is driven when the temperature of a closed casing becomes higher than a predetermined temperature so that the circulating amount of coolant gas in the communication pipe is increased. CONSTITUTION:A refrigerant circulating pump is disposed in a raised pipe section 10 of a communication pipe having both inlet and outlet ports opened above the level of lubricating oil in a closed casing 1 and extending upward. When the compressor section 2 is driven, high pressure and high temperature gas is discharged into the closed casing 1, and a large part of the gas is discharged into a refrigerating cycle system through a discharge pipe 5. Further, when the temperature of the closed casing 1 exceeds a predetermined value, a temperature detector 13 establishes its circuit to drive a refrigerant circulating pump 12. With this arrangement the circulating amount of refrigerant in the communication pipe 8 is greatly increased to increase heat radiation from the communication pipe 8 so that the compressor section 2 may be efficiently cooled.
