Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a multi-chamber cooling/heating device which enables each indoor equipment to select freely either cooling operation and heating operation while having a heat storage function capable of controlling the amount of heat emission. CONSTITUTION:This multi-chamber cooling/heating device is provided with a first use side refrigeration cycle which connects continuously a third auxiliary heat exchanger 39 to first indoor heat exchangers 48a and 48b installed to freely selectable cooling/heating indoor equipment 46a and 46b and a second use side refrigeration cycle which connects continuously a fourth auxiliary hat exchanger 40 to second indoor heat exchangers 50a and 50b installed to the freely selectable cooling/heating indoor equipment 46a and 46b and a first bypass circuit which bypasses the third auxiliary heat exchanger 39 and a second bypass circuit which bypasses the fourth auxiliary heat exchanger 42.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a comfortable multi-chamber type cooling or heating device preventing a lack of capacity of an indoor device in a system in which each of indoor devices can perform a cooling or a heating operation in an independent manner by a method wherein the refrigerant is prevented from being accumulated in a heat exchanger at a heat source even in the case where a cooling load and a heating load become substantially equal to each other and a pressure reducing device is closed. CONSTITUTION:This multi-chamber type air conditioner comprises a pressure reducing device opening degree sensing means 38 for sensing a degree of opening of a pressure reducing device 23, a three-way valve operating means 39 in which a three-way valve 25 is communicated with an evaporating circuit 26 and a condensing circuit 26' is closed, a surrounding air temperature sensor 40, a suction pressure sensor 41, a pressure comparing means 42 for comparing pressures to each other, and a pressure reducing device fine opening means 43 for adjusting the pressure reducing device 23 to a degree of opening of a specified value.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a multi-room air-conditioning apparatus which facilitate the optimum designing of an air-conditioning cycle and obtain an air-conditioning capability always stable without any delay in response when an air-conditioning load varies by allowing room units to accomplish air-conditioning operation individually. CONSTITUTION:A compressor 1, a first auxiliary heat exchanger 19 for heating, a first control valve 20 to control the capacity of the first auxiliary heat exchanger 19 for heating, a first auxiliary heat exchanger 22 for cooling, a second control valve 21 to control the capacity of the first auxiliary heat exchanger 22 for cooling, a decompressor 23 and a heat source side heat exchanger 24 are connected successively to a three-way valve 25 and the decompressor 23 is made to communicate between the first control valve 20 and the second control valve 21. A heat source side refrigerant cycle is provided and in the cycle, an evaporation circuit 26 in which one hand of the three-way valve 25 is made to communicate between the first auxiliary heat exchanger 22 for cooling and the compressor 1 is connected to a condensing circuit 27 in which the other hand of the three-way valve 25 is made to communicate between the compressor 1 and the first auxiliary heat exchanger 19 successively.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a space cooling and heating device in which a gas injection can be used without damaging a reliability in operation of a compressor even in the case that both cooling and heating operations are being carried out and an indoor and outdoor load is varied. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a discharging pressure sensing means 21 for use in detecting a discharging pressure of a compressor 1, an intermediate pressure sensing means 22 for sensing an intermediate pressure of a gas-liquid separator 14, a cooling or heating mode discriminating means 24 for discriminating either a cooling operation or a heating operation and a set intermediate pressure calculating means 25 for calculating a set intermediate pressure in response to a discharging pressure. In addition, there are provided an intermediate pressure discriminating means 26 for comparing and discriminating a result of calculation with an intermediate pressure, a pressure reducing amount discriminating means 27 for discriminating a pressure reducing amount of a cooling or heating pressure reducing device 15 in response to a result of the discrimination and a pressure reducing device driving means 28 for driving the cooling or heating pressure reducing device 15 in response to the pressure reducing amount.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent introduction of refrigerant to a stopped unit and to optimally branch it to outdoor and indoor units by maintaining the opening of an outdoor flow-rate valve when last one of outdoor units to be stopped is stopped, and stepwisely fully-closing the opening in response to a pressure difference of refrigerant conveying unit inlet/outlet at the time of stopping a plurality of units. CONSTITUTION:The multiroom air-conditioner comprises pressure sensing and calculating means 16, an operation monitor 17, outdoor unit control means 18a, 18b and outdoor flow-rate valve driving means 19a, 19b. At the time of stopping an outdoor unit, the means 18a receives a stop signal of last one unit or stop signals of a plurality of units from the monitor 17, instructs the means 19a whether an outdoor unit (f) is last one to be stopped or a plurality of units to be stopped. At the time of stopping the last one, the opening of an outdoor flow-rate valve 11a is maintained. At the time of stopping the plurality of units, the opening of the valve 11a is stepwisely fully-closed in response to input/output pressure difference of a refrigerant conveying unit 13.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a cooling and heating device capable of preventing liquid refrigerant from staying within an indoor device, avoiding as shortening of life of a pump and a lack of high pressure and further capable of performing a normal operation by a method wherein its operation cycle is divided into a heat source side refrigerant cycle and a utilization side refrigerant cycle and an auxiliary pump device positioned between the second auxiliary heat exchanger and the indoor device is driven in the case that a heating operation is effected with a high pumping action and a long piping. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary pump device is arranged between the second auxiliary heat exchanger and an indoor device. Actuation of heating operation is detected by a cooling or heating operating sensing means 15, a heating cycle operation is performed by a device driving means 16. A differential pressure between a high pressure of a heat source side refrigerant cycle and that of a utilization side refrigerant cycle detected by a pressure sensing means 27 is calculated by a differential pressure calculation means 28. A control device 26 is provided such that the auxiliary pump device is driven by an auxiliary pump device driving means 29 until the high pressure of the heat source side refrigerant cycle and the differential pressure exceed their predetermined values.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the operation of a system efficient by providing a plurality of respectively heat exchangers on the side of air-conditioned rooms, auxiliary heat exchangers, collecting pipes, refrigerant-transferring devices, and gas-liquid mixers, and also a gas communication line and a liquid communication line. CONSTITUTION:Liquid-predominating refrigerant is sent from a third collecting pipe 26c to heat exchangers 23a, 23b on the side of air-conditioned rooms to effect cooling by evaporation and turned into a medium of less liquid, which then flows into a first collecting pipe 26a and from thence to second auxiliary heat-exchangers 19 in the manner of circulation. On the occasion that one of refrigerant-transferring devices 22 stops working, leaving the other device working alone, liquid-predominating refrigerant flows into respective gas-liquid mixers 21 in the same manner as when both the two devices are working. At this time the gas-liquid mixer 21 on the side where the refrigerant-transferring device has stopped working, since it communicates with the gas-liquid mixer 21 on the working side with a gas communication line 21a and a liquid communication line 21b therebetween, is not choked and ca hold liquid even when, in cooling, the outdoor temperature is so high as to thermally affect the operation. Thus the system can be operated efficiently.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively start a room heating operation in a short time by providing refrigerant flowrate limiting means, differential pressure sensing means, differential pressure deciding means, room heating starting time user side unit driving means and room heating operation user side unit driving means. CONSTITUTION:After a refrigerant pump 8 is driven by a room heating starting time user side unit driving means 27 at the time of starting a room heating, a refrigerant flowrate limiter 20 is operated to reduce refrigerant circulation at the discharge side of a refrigerant pump 8, and a pressure difference between a blow-off side and a suction side of the pump 8 is increased. The difference is sensed by differential pressure sensing means 28, and is compared with a proving differential pressure of a user side four-way valve 9 to be decided by differential pressure deciding means 29. After the arrival of the difference at the proving differential pressure is decided, the valve 9 is closed by room heating operation user side unit driving means 30 to operate a room heating cycle. Thus, even when a pilot type is employed in the valve 9, a room heating operation can be effectively started in a short time.
