Abstract: PURPOSE: To adsorb and remove gaseous CO2 contained in rigid urethane foam and to improve the heat insulating performance by using a gaseous CO2 adsorbent in urethane stock to be foamed integrally. CONSTITUTION: Powder of an alkali metal hydroxide or an alkaline earth metal hydroxide is mixed with a water carrying water-absorbing substance and the resultant mixture is granulated and surface-treated with an org. coating agent, etc., to obtain the objective gaseous CO2 adsorbent. This adsorbent does not adsorb water in urethane stock and can adsorb and remove only gaseous CO2 in foam after foaming.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent THE shrinkage of a foam and keep an appearance.quality for a long term by a method wherein a rigid urethane foam loaded with a cyclopentane as a component of a foaming agent and water as an adjuvant foaming agent is foamed to be loaded between an inner box made of a high- nitrile resin composition and a metallic outer box. CONSTITUTION:A graft copolymer and a coplymer are obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture of 30-50wt.% vinyl cyanide compound and 50-70wt.% aromatic vinyl compound in the presence of a conjugated diene synthetic rubber. A high-nitrile resin composition mixed with an acrylate rubber having 2-4C alkyl is molded into an inner box 6. The inner box 6 is coated with the coplymer obtained by polymerizing a monomer mixture of 30-50wt.% vinyl cyanide compound and 50-70wt.% aromatic vinyl compound. A rigid urethane foam 5 loaded with a cyclopentane as a foaming agent and 1 part or more water as an adjuvant foaming agent is foamed to be loaded between the inner box 6 and a metallic outer box 3.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve gas barrier performance and moldability, and protect the appearance from being deformed by applying the constitution where multilayer plastic for forming a vessel to cover a core material of high insulation performance is provided with at least one layer of ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer resin layer containing a specific amount of ethylene. CONSTITUTION:A vessel 3 is made of multilayer plastic having an outermost layer 4, an intermediate layer 6 and an innermost layer 8. The outermost layer 4 is formed out of a resin layer 5 made of polypropylene resin or the like of almost 100mu thickness having high chemical resistance. The intermediate layer 6 is formed out of a resin layer 7 made of ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer resin of almost 100mu thickness having high gas barrier performance and containing 20mol.% to 50mol.% of ethylene. The innermost layer 8 is formed out of a resin layer 9 made of polypropylene resin or the like of almost 100mu thickness having high chemical resistance and moldability. The vessel 2 is filled with a core material 3 formed via the pulverization of hard urethane foam.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a vacuum heat insulating pack which can be manufactured industrially at low cost while being stabilized in performance by making up the pack of core material, a container covering the core material, and of a barrier member, and concurrently providing the barrier member for a part of the container. CONSTITUTION:This pack is made up of core material 2 made of hard urethane foam in a continuous bubble structure and the like, a container 4 which is made from a plastic laminate film 3 under vacuum, a barrier member 6 made from a plastic-metallic foil laminate film 5, and of a cover member 8 made from a plastic laminate film 7. The barrier member 6 is fitted on the inner surface of the container 4 by means of heat sealing and the like, the core material 2 made of hard urethane foam in a continuous bubble structure and the like, is filled therein thereafter, its inner section is decompressed, and the cover member 8 is hermetically sealed by means of heat sealing thereafter. Since the barrier member 6 having the metallic foil is partially stuck thereon as mentioned above, less thermal conduction by the metallic foil takes place.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the continuous bubble fraction of a skin part and prevent any foam scraps from occurring in getting rid of cut and removal parts by mounting a permeable face member on a jig with permeability as well, and manufacturing a continuous cell structural hard urethane foam panel as a core material in this face member. CONSTITUTION:In foaming of a hard urethane foam block 4, a sheet of paper and a nonwoven fabric or the like with permeability, as a surface member, are mounted and put into an open panel jig 5, but this jig 5 is also composed of a material with permeability such as a ceramic foaming body or the like. Subsequently, the hard urethane foam block 4 is cut into an optional size, and a hard urethane foam panel 7 with foam is made on the central part and the surface part. Then, adsorbed moisture or the like is heated and evaporated, and it is covered with a vessel 3 consisting of a metal-plastic laminate film, the inner part is decompressed and hermetically sealed, obtaining an insulated body 8. Since the panel 7 being obtained in this way is continuously bubbled to perfection even on the surface part, a large quantity of foam scraps should not be produced.
