Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a propylene polymer composition excellent in tensile elongation and impact resistance as well as in hardness, rigidity and heat resistance, and also excellent in moldability by blending a specified copolymer and an inorganic filler. SOLUTION: This composition comprises 25-94wt.% propylene block copolymer which has a melt flow rate(MFR) (ASTM D 1238, 230 deg.C, 2.16kg load) of 10-400g/10min, which contains 3-20wt.% component soluble in n-decane at ordinary temperature, having an intrinsic viscosity of 4-10dl/g and containing 30-50mol% ethylene units, and whose polypropylene component has an MFR of 20-450g/10min and a pentad isotacticity determined by the C-NMR method of at least 0.95; 5-45wt.% ethylene/1-octene random copolymer which contains 7-15mol% 1-octene units and has an intrinsic viscosity of 1.0-5.0dl/g, a glass transition point of -45 deg.C or lower and a density of 0.875-0.895g/cm ; and 1-30wt.% inorganic filler.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the above composition excellent in flexibility, scratch resistance, heat resistance, transparency, etc., having proper adhesive force and releasability, leaving no bleeded matter on adherends, thus useful for automtoive surface coating, etc., comprising specific different kinds of olefin-based copolymers and a tackifier. SOLUTION: This composition comprises a total 100 pts.wt. of (A) 30-85pts. by wt. of a propylene-1-butene random copolymer with a propylene content of 50-90mol%, melt flow rate(MFR) at 230 deg.C under a load of 2.16kg of 0.1-100g/10min, molecular weight distribution determined by gel permeation chromatography of 1.5-3.0 in terms of the ratio of weight-average molecular weight (Mw ) to number-average molecular weight (Mn ):Mw /Mn and copolymerized monomer chain distribution randomness of 1.0-1.5 in terms of B-number, (B) 15-70 pts.wt. of an ethylene-3-10Cα-olefin copolymer with an ethylene content of 75-95wt.% and MFR of 0.1-100g/10min at 190 deg.C under a load of 2.16kg, and (C) 0-20 pts.wt. of a tackifier.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a polypropylene composite film which has an excellent heat sealability such as low-temperature heat sealability and heat sealing strength and excellent slipping properties and blocking resistance. CONSTITUTION: A polypropylene composite film comprises [I] a crystalline polypropylene layer, and [II] a polypropylene composition layer, wherein the composition [II] contains (A) crystalline polypropylene and (B) propylene-1- butene random copolymer of 10 to less than 50wt.%. The (B) copolymer contains (1) 1-butene constituent unit content of 5 to 50mol%, (2) critical viscosity of 0.1 to 5dl/g, (3) 3 or less of Mw/Mn, (4) B value of 1.0 to 1.5. Further, more preferably (1) 1-butene content and a melting point (60 to 140 deg.C) and (1) and the crystallizability satisfy the specific relation formula. The copolymer (B) is manufactured by using a specific metallocene catalyst.

CONSTITUTION: The polypropylene composite film comprises (A) an unoriented crystalline polypropylene layer and (B) a propylene-1-butene random copolymer layer, wherein the copolymer (B) has (1) 5 to 50mol% OF 1-butene constituent unit, (2) 0.1 to 5dl/g of critical viscosity, (3) 3 or less of molecular weight distribution (Mw/Mn), and (4) 1.0 to 1.5 or preferably 1.0 to 1.3 of a B value. Further, the copolymer preferably has (5) 60 to 140 deg.C of melting point, and the 1-butene unit content satisfies the specific relation formula with the melting point or the crystallizability. The copolymer (B) can be manufactured by using specific metallocene catalyst.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To highten kink resistance and restoring property of a tube by keeping the ratio of the thickness of the projected part to the thickness of the recessed part on the inner surface of a tube >=12. CONSTITUTION:Recessed parts 2 and projected parts 3 are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the tube 1 composed of flexible resin. The ratio t1/t2 of the thickness t1, of the projected part 3 to the thickness t2 of the recessed part 2 is kept at, at least, 12. Further the rate n/m of the sum(n) of the upper end- width of each projected part to the length(m) of the circle having the distance from the center to the projected part 3 in the cross section of the tube 1 as radius, is kept between 20-80%. By providing the projected parts of 2-20, a desired flexible tube is obtained. The flexible resin is the resin composed of single or at least two kinds of the ethylene alpha-obefine copolymer composed of ethylene and alpha-obefine of the carbon number of 3-10. The melt flow rate of the resin is 0.5-100g/10min and its density is 0.850-0.900g/cm . This tube is excellent is kink resistance and restoring property.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain film free from bleed after peeling, because of its excellent flexibility, scratch resistance, initial adhesion and peelability, by blending a specific propylene.1-butene random copolymer and an ethylene.alpha-olefin copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The subject composition comprises (A) 85 to 20wt.% of a propylene.1-butene random copolymer of 0.1 to 100g/10 minutes melt index at 230 deg.C, 60 to 80mol% of propylene content, 20 to 80Joule/g crystal melting heat according to the thermal analysis by DSC, (B) 15 to 80wt.% of an ethylene.alpha-olefin copolymer wherein the melt index is 0.1 to 100g/min, ethylene content is 30%, crystallinity is 0 to 30%, and the alpha-olefin is of 3 to 10 carbon atoms, and (C) 0 to 10wt.% of a tackifier. The component C is, e.g. a terpene based hydrocarbon resin, a rosin based hydrocarbon resin or the like.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title copolymer excellent in melt flow and moldability as well as in skin and gloss of a molding, comprising an ethylene/alpha-olefin/5- alkenyl-2-norbornene copolymer having a specified structure and specified properties. CONSTITUTION:The title amorphous or lowly crystalline copolymer comprises 40-96mol.% ethylene, 60-4mol.% 3-20C alpha-olefin and 0.01-0.7mol.% 5- alkenyl-2-norbornene, having an intrinsic viscosity eta of 0.5-10dl/g as measured in decalin at 135 deg.C, an MW distribution (Mw/Mn) of 2-16, a melt flow rate MFR of 0.01-1,000g/10min as measured at 230 deg.C under a load of 2.16kg, satisfying the relationship of formula I between said eta and said MFR and satisfying the relationship of formula II of the molar ratio between the 5-alkenyl-2- norbornene component and the double bonds derived from the alkenyl groups of this component. This copolymer is excellent in melt flow and moldability as well as in skin and gloss of a molding and low in stickiness of the surface of a molding and can give a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in an effect of improving impact resistance and in the above-mentioned properties when used as a modifier for a thermoplastic resin.
