    Abstract: A cylindrical reflector having a through hole in conformity with the shape of an elemental portion is fitted to the elemental portion in a LAN antenna in which the elemental portion encloses a linear conductor therein and projects from a base table, and further, the reflector is turned to be set at a position at which the directivity is formed in a specific direction. A flat plate or a curved plate forming a reflecting surface of the reflector is arbitrarily set, thus forming a desired radiation pattern of a beam.

    Abstract: A helical antenna comprising a cylindrical dielectric member 1, four spiral conductors 2a to 2d which are wound around the outer wall of the cylindrical dielectric member 1, four spiral conductors 3a to 3d which are attached to the inner wall of the cylindrical dielectric member 1, and power supply circuits 4, 5 for supplying high-frequency power to the spiral conductors 2a to 2d and the spiral conductors 3a to 3d respectively. That is, the spiral conductors serving as radiation elements are disposed at the outside and inside of the cylindrical dielectric member, and the outer and inner conductors are operated as independent helical antennas. These spiral conductors are connected to the power supply circuits for supplying the high-frequency power having desired amplitude and phase.

    Abstract: In an antenna device comprising an antenna block which can electrically control a direction of a radio wave transmitted or received by the antenna device, a phase shift unit is connected to the antenna block to phase shift an external electric signal or an internal electric signal given to or from the antenna device. The phase shift unit has variable and discrete phase shifts switched from one to another in response to a control signal supplied from a controller and supplies a phase shifted external signal to the antenna block or a phase shifted internal signal to an external device. The antenna block comprises a plurality of antenna elements and a plurality of phase shifters which are connected to the antenna elements to send the phase shifted external signal to the respective antenna elements or to send the internal electric signal to the phase shift unit.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna element having a wide-band omnidirectional radiation pattern.
    SOLUTION: The antenna has two radiation elements of plate type conductors. One radiation element is in a key-like shape and the inside of a bent portion forming the key-like shape is formed with arbitrary straight lines or curved lines. The other radiation element is in an L shape, and the inside of a bent portion forming the L shape is formed with arbitrary straight lines or curved lines.
