Abstract: Mecanismo de retención (2') para un dispensador para retener un rollo de material intercambiable, incluyendo el mecanismo de retención: - un alojamiento (3') con una ranura de introducción (30) para introducción de un pasador de soporte (14) del rollo intercambiable, teniendo dicha ranura de introducción una sección de entrada (300) y una sección de salida (302), - un soporte de guía (5') dispuesto en el alojamiento, teniendo dicho soporte de guía una ranura de guía (7) para guiar el pasador de soporte y una sección de bloqueo (6) para bloquear el pasador de soporte en una posición final, - estando configurado el soporte de guía de tal manera que solamente un pasador de soporte con dimensiones apropiadas pueda ser bloqueado, - donde el soporte de guía puede pivotar con respecto al alojamiento entre una posición de introducción y una posición de bloqueo, mientras que, en la posición de introducción, la sección de salida de la ranura de introducción se deja abierta de tal manera que un pasador de soporte de dimensiones inapropiadas deslice a través de la ranura de introducción desde la sección de entrada a la sección de salida y sea rechazado, y - el soporte de guía pivotable incluye una sección de bloqueo (58) para bloquear la introducción de un pasador de soporte de dimensiones inapropiadas a la ranura de guía.

Abstract: An end plug (5) for a roll of material to be inserted into a retention mechanism (1), comprising a receiving portion (60) with dimensions to fit into a hollow core of the roll of material; and a bearing member (70) with dimensions to fit into the retention mechanism, the bearing member comprising a bearing pin (80) comprising a counter surface (82) facing the receiving portion; and a locking surface (90) for locking the end plug in an end position (250) in the retention mechanism, the locking surface being arranged between the receiving portion and the bearing pin, the locking surface having at least one portion inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bearing pin by an angle to the longitudinal axis of the bearing pin in the range of 117° to 141°. Also disclosed is a retention mechanism (1) in a dispenser for retaining an end plug (5) of an exchangeable roll of material, the retention mechanism comprising: a housing (10) with an insertion slot (20) for inserting a bearing member (70) of the end plug, the insertion slot being arranged between an upper guide rail and a lower guide rail (200) , the guide rails having at least an inclined sliding surface or interaction with an inclined locking surface of the bearing member; a locking member formed in at least one of the guide rails, the locking member being formed such that it interacts with the inclined locking.

Abstract: The end stop (5) for rolls of material, e.g. paper towels, fits into the core of the roll. It has a pin (70) on the free side which fits into a dispenser arm (1). A locking surface (90) on the pin fits into a recess (250) on the inside of the arm. The surface is at an angle of 117 - 141[deg] to the axis of the pin. Independent claims are included for: (A) use of the stop in rolls of material, especially paper towels and rolls of tissue; (B) rolls of material for use in dispensers incorporating end stops as described; (C) arms as described; and (D) a locking system comprising the arms and end stops.
