The invention relates to an end plug (5) for a roll of material to be inserted into a retention mechanism (1), the end plug comprising: a receiving portion (60) for being inserted in the roll of material, an end face (680) for contacting the retention mechanism and a bearing member (70) for being inserted into the retention mechanism. The bearing member comprises a bearing pin (80) comprising a counter surface (82) facing the end face and at least one locking portion (950) for locking the end plug in an end position (250) in the retention mechanism, the locking portion being positioned within a zone (900) defined by a first surface (90') extending towards the end face from an intersection position (910) with the bearing pin, the first surface being inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bearing pin by an angle of 117 and a second surface (90'') extending towards the end face from the intersection position, the second surface being inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the bearing pin by an angle of 141.
Abstract:
A dispensing mechanism for a liquid container is arranged in liquid communication with an outlet mechanism. The dispensing mechanism is adapted to translate a user force applied to a user operated portion into a transfer force applied from a user lever to an actuation part. A relationship between a first length and a second length forms a lever ratio. The first length extends from a first pivot axis to a user operated portion and the second length extends from the first pivot axis to a point of action of the transfer force on the actuation part. The lever ratio is adapted to increase from a non-actuated position over at least the first 50% of a dispensing stroke of the actuation part such that the transfer force increases over the at least first 50% of the dispensing stroke when a constant force is applied to the user operated portion.
Abstract:
A dispensing unit and a dispenser are provided. The dispensing unit is adapted for use with continuous web material. The dispensing unit comprises a first roller arranged to rotate about a first axis and a second roller arranged to rotate about a second axis. A web path is provided through the dispensing unit and a portion of the web path includes a web passage defined between the first roller and the second roller. The first roller is displaceable between at least a first position and a second position, wherein a first distance is defined between the first roller and the second roller when the first roller is arranged in the first position, and a second distance is defined between the first roller and the second roller when the first roller is arranged in the second position.
