PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an operation equivalent to the instructing operation of a mouse. SOLUTION: A light reception image generation part 15 generates light reception image data based on each light reception signal from a plurality of light receiving elements of a light receiving part 14 arranged adjacently to the display part 13. An object detection part 16 detects an object corresponding to an object such as the finger brought into contact with or in the proximity of the display surface of the display part 13 from the light reception image data. A command recognition/issuing part 17 recognizes and issues one predetermined command among commands to be used by a mouse as the command of an operator based on at least one of the location relation, time position change and shape of the detected object. A display image generation part 11 generates image data according to the issued command, and makes the display part 13 display the image corresponding to the image data through a display control part 12. SOLUTION: The display device 1 includes a light emitting part 11 displaying motion picture images, and an input terminal 2 includes a light receiving part 22 receiving light. A motion picture two-dimensional code is constituted of a plurality of symbols including a data symbol 54 and an anchor symbol 53. The display device 1 is designed to display the anchor symbol 53 by means of the light emitting part 11 every time or a plurality of times the data symbol 54 is displayed, so that a large capacity of information is efficiently transmitted from the display device 1 to the input terminal 2. In addition, the input terminal 2 reads the symbols by means of the light receiving part 22 and also detects the anchor symbol 53 to locate the light receiving positions of the respective symbols in the light receiving part 22, thereby further allowing the large capacity of information to be reliably transmitted. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus and a method in which the interpolation of error data can be performed for a data string which is composed of ΔΣ-modulated one-bit data. SOLUTION: A '0' interpolation part 15 and a '1' interpolation part 16 generate interpolation-data candidates which interpolate one piece of error data existing in some placed in a one-bit audio data string which is input from an input terminal 13. A multibit generation part 17 and a multibit generation part 18 change the two interpolation-data candidates into multibits. A validity judgment part 19 judges the validity of the two interpolation-data candidates on the basis of the two multibits which are output. A selection switch 20 selects one out of the two interpolation-data candidates according to the judgment result of the validity judgment part 19. A substitution switch 21 substitutes one of the candidates for error data in the one-bit data according to error discrimination information as interpolation data.

Light reception signals in the auxiliary sensors 33 are constituted of the differential signals of the two light reception sensors 331, 332. An image processing part 14 acquires object information of the proximity object, based on the light reception signals to be obtained by the main sensors 32 and the light reception signals to be obtained by the auxiliary sensors 33.

SOLUTION: A reset voltage control part 16 variably controls the value of a reset voltage Vrst 1 according to the characteristic change of a photoelectric conversion element due to temperature.
