Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an influence on a recording capacity and to record or transmit specific information by recording in a recording medium a digital signal to which an error correction sign is added, which is partly replaced by specific information. SOLUTION: A digital signal is inputted to an input terminal 11 and an identification signal is inputted to a terminal 10. The digital signal is inputted to a sector circuit 13 via I/F circuit 12 and the identification information is inputted to an identification information replacing circuit 23 via the circuit 12. In the circuit 13, the digital signal is sectored by a prescribed data volume unit, and the sector data and sector address are transmitted to a processing circuit 14, which provides them with scramble processing. The data and the sector address are transmitted to an addition circuit, which places header data at the head of the sector and adds EDC to them, and an encoding circuit 16 adds error correction signs, parity C1 and C2 to them and sends them to the replacing circuit 23, in which they receive an identification information from the circuit 12 and a part of the parity C2 is replaced by the identification information and they are outputted, being modulated in a modulation circuit 17. In an addition circuit 18, a synchronizing signal for out-of-rule pattern is added to them, which are amplified in a driving circuit 19 and are recorded with a recording head 20.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk-like recording medium and the method and the device for data reproduction capable of preventing unauthorized copying by arranging concentric circular track regions and spiral track regions side by side on a disk-like recording medium. SOLUTION: Plural spiral track regions Tsp in which spiral shaped tracks are formed and plural concentric circular track regions Tccc in which concentric circular tracks are formed are provided on a disk-like recording medium D. By mixing the regions Tcc and Tsp , the medium D, in which the data on both tracks are not reproduced by a conventional reproducing device, is obtained. In order to reproduce the data on the medium D, discrimination is made to determine whether a present reproducing position is in the Tcc or in the Tsp and a use is made for the method and the device for data reproduction having a function to switch a reproducing condition. Thus, the disk-like recording medium and the method and the device, in which an unauthorized copy is prevented, are realized.

CONSTITUTION:Information is delivered to plural user equipments 2 through a transmission channel 11 comprising a satellite from a service center 1. The same information is outputted to a service relay center 14 through a transmission channel 12 comprising a satellite or a cable or the like. The service relay center 14 is installed to major cities in the whole country. The user equipment 2 inquires of the service relay center 14 via a transmission line 13 comprising a telephone line not to the service center 1 when the inquiry is required as a result of viewing of the received information. The service relay center 14 generates a reply signal with respect to the inquiry and outputs the signal to the user equipment 2 via the transmission channel 13.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To inform the update of a contract, etc., in advance by data broadcasting without using any documents by previously detecting the contract expiring at a center where various periodic contract information is stored and informing the contract opposite party of the expiration of the contract through a communication channel. CONSTITUTION:A center device and a user terminal are connected through, for example, an artificial satellite. The CPU 1 of the center device retrieves information on the expiration dates of contracts by contractors registered in a contractor information storage part 6 and detects a predetermined due date when contract update is noticed being exceeded. Then the CPU 1 reads a warning message indicating that the contract update day is approaching out of the information storage part 5 and sends it to the artificial satellite when information to be distributed is sent afterward. The user terminal once receiving the warning message sent thorugh the artificial satellite stores it in a RAM and displays it at a display part together with the distributed information or outputs an alarm sound from an alarm sound generation part.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain message communication between communication terminal equipments without using a special communication control procedure in a communication network such as an ISDN and to reduce the communication charge for the communication. CONSTITUTION:A caller terminal equipment T1 superimposes a message to be delivered to a called terminal equipment T2 on user/user information of a setup message and sends the result via a signal channel of an ISDN. Then the terminal equipment T2 sends superimposes a reception acknowledge and a signal channel interrupt request on a call message representing the calling state and sends the result via a signal channel. Upon the receipt of the sent call message, the caller terminal equipment T1 sends an interrupt message on which a reception report representing the reception of the message and a reply message to the called terminal equipment T2 are superimposed via the signal channel without awaiting the reply message to be received next from the called terminal equipment T2.

CONSTITUTION:Recessed parts 4 and 5 which extend up to specific parts in a core layer 1 as the waveguide are formed at a specific interval while penetrating a base 3 and one side of a clad layer 2. Further, light emitting elements 6 and 7 are embedded in the recessed parts 4 and 5 respectively. The recessed parts 4 and 5 are shaped preferably so that the light emitting elements 6 and 7 are embedded exactly. An electric signal to be transmitted by the light emitting element 6 arranged in the recessed part 4 is converted into a light signal, which is transmitted to a photodetecting element 7 arranged in the recessed part 5 through a core layer 1 as the light emitting element 6 arranged in the recessed part 4 and then reconverted from the light signal to the electric signal.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To transmit surely the signals between sets without using any connecting cord by providing a reflecting means in the central part of an optical waveguide in part of the transverse direction of said optical guide.
CONSTITUTION: The optical waveguide is made into the slab line construction consisting of the 1st clad layer 10', a core layer 11' and the 2nd clad layer 12. The central part of the 1st clad layer 10 is made into a triangular shape of which only part of the entire width has approximately 45° inclination. A reflecting mirror 13' is deposited as a reflecting means on said part. The core layer 11' and the 2nd clad layer 12' are separated by the mirror 13' in the part where said mirror exists but the remaining part extends over the entire surface. The optical waveguide penetrating between the sets is provided and the signal is transmitted through such optical waveguide and therefore the need for the connecting cord is eliminated and since the reflecting means is provided in the optical waveguide, the branching and introduction of the light are made simple and the light emitting and photodetecting parts are concentrated at one point.
