Abstract:
A signal recording/reproducing method and apparatus, signal record medium and signal transmission/reception method and apparatus, whereby a signal recorded on a signal record medium can identified as being an original signal or a copied signal. A CPU 11 generates, at a pe-set time interval, an identification signal having a meaning at a pre-set time interval, and an identification signal addition circuit 3 adds the identification signal to the video signals and/or the audio signals. A sector forming circuit 5 and circuit components up to a recording/reproducing head 14 record the video signals and/or the audio signals and the ancillary identification signal on an optical disc 12.
Abstract:
A radio communication CPU (89) controls equipment by using network setting information in a network setting storage unit (86) of a radio communication device (3) included in a short-distance radio communication network so as to set up the connection relation with a communication network (for example, the Internet) and to control the transmission/reception of data between devices included in the communication network through the short-distance radio communication network. Thus, the network setting for connection to, e.g., the Internet for each portable device being present in the short-distance radio communication network is simplified.
Abstract:
The input is enciphered by means of at least one of a sectoring circuit (13) used for processing the input data to generate recording signals, a scramble processing circuit (14), a header adding circuit (15), an error correcting/encoding circuit (16), a modulation circuit (17), and a synchronism adding circuit (18), and the enciphered signal is outputted. In addition to the key of the enciphering itself in the circuit, which circuit performs the processing, is also an enciphering key. Therefore, data are enciphered with a simple circuit structure and ciphered data are hardly deciphered.
Abstract:
An optical disk (D) has a first working area and a second working area having two recording formats. Encrypted data is recorded on the second working area. Encrypting key data is recorded on the first working area. The encrypting key data is used for decoding the encrypted data. This recording technique makes easy reproduction of the recorded data quite difficult. If data recorded on a bit-formed portion can be reproduced by any means, the data signal recorded on the optical disk cannot easily be reproduced.
Abstract:
An input is ciphered in at least one of a sector forming circuit 13, a scrambling circuit 14, a header appendage circuit 15, an error correction encoding circuit 16, a modulation circuit 18 and a synchronization appendage circuit 18, used for processing input data for forming a recording signal. Not only the key for ciphering itself in the circuits but also the information as to which of the circuits has been used for ciphering becomes the key for ciphering. This realizes ciphering difficult to decode by a simplified structure.

Abstract:
In a database accessing system, access information concerning access to a database system is transferred using call control messages including user-to-user information within a control procedure defining the connection of a call on a signal channel (38). This results in a database accessing method that offers an improved use efficiencies of communication lines, an upgraded operating ratio of a database system, and reduced communication cost.
Abstract:
A tone arm assembly for record players having a first motor for rotating a tone arm in the vertical direction, a second motor for rotating the tone arm in the horizontal direction, with respect to a record disc, respectively, and a control means for controlling the first and second motors in such a manner that the tone arm is moved from a raised inoperative position to a lowered playing position, or from the lowered playing position to the raised inoperative position in response to control signals.
Abstract:
A tone arm assembly for record players has first and second electro-magnetic motors operable for swinging a tone arm in vertical and horizontal directions, respectively, in respect to a record disc on a turntable, and a control circuit for controlling the first and second motors in such a manner that the tone arm is moved from a raised inoperative position to a lowered playing position, or from the lowered playing position to the raised inoperative position in response to control signals.
