SOLUTION: The recorder 100 of a reversible multi-color recording medium comprises laser light oscillating means 30, 33 and 36 for irradiating the reversible multi-color recording medium 10(70) with a plurality of laser lights having different wavelengths, a means for scanning the surface of the reversible multi-color recording medium, and a means for modulating the output of laser light selectively depending on the scanning position and recording information.
