Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the operability by including changeover to other antenna input to a part of the channel changeover at one antenna input in changing over two antenna inputs. CONSTITUTION:When a tuner circuit 4 selects an AUX channel, a switch circuit 3 is connected to a contact A by a signal SW and a to a contact N in selecting the 1st channel-125th channel by the program of a microcomputer 10. That is, in the AUX channel, the switch circuit 3 is changed over to the tuner 53 of the CATV position by a signal SW and the received channel of the tuner circuit 4 is made coincident with the output channel of the tuner 53. Thus, the CATV broadcast is regarded as one of conventional television broadcast channels by the operation of an UP-key 22 or DOWN-key 23.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent noise generated at the time of abruptly stopping a power by detecting the presence and the absence of the prescribed number of commercial AC power supplies and muting a sound when this power supply is not supplied in a sound signal receiver. CONSTITUTION:The power supply of 50 Hz or 60 Hz from the commercial power 31 is shaped to a square wave in a waveform shaping circuit 32, supplied to a microcomputer 10 and a timer circuit 30 is operated. At a certain time, when the output of the power supply 31 is abruptly stopped, and square wave signal from the circuit 32 does not appear immediately. The computer 10 decides whether there is an interruption processing by the square wave signal of 50 Hz or 60 Hz or not for every elapse of a constant time. According to such interruption processing, the operation of the timer 30 is executed. Abstract: PURPOSE:To achieve a higher reliability while preventing malfunctioning, by detecting a time tone signal among received signals to correct time of a timepiece while the time correction of the timepiece is prohibited at least in the external input mode. CONSTITUTION:Time tone signals are supplied from bandpass filters 13 and 14 and a time tone is detected with a microcomputer 20, it is determined whether a receiver is in the test mode or not. When in the test mode, automatic time correction is performed at any time by a time tone signal for testing in a production process. When time setting is completed, switches 7V and 7A are in connection to determine whether the receiver is in the external input mode or not. When in the external input mode, automatic time correction is omitted. When not in the external input mode, it is determined whether a required time correction value is within an allowable correction range or not. For example, only when the allowable correction is set within a range of + or -3min and as long as correction value is within this range, automatic correction is performed thereby preventing malfunctioning.

CONSTITUTION:N-set (N is a plural number) is displayed sequentially in parallel at the prescribed position of the displayed screen of a cathode ray tube 5 while being superimposed on a video signal VD1 and when the displayed information is less than N-set, the display position is changed to display the information from the corner of the displayed screen of the cathode ray tube 5 with priority. The information is displayed from the corner of the displayed screen with priority in this way to locate the received video signal picture at a local position not giving hindrance at all times regardless of number of sets of displayed information. Thus, the various information is displayed excellently on the screen while offering the most easy to see state for the received signal picture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain the automatic presetting operation of channels by performing a tuning action and skipping the channel section voltage up to a level near the channel selection voltage which can select a channel adjacent another selected channel after selecting a certain channel. CONSTITUTION:An external memory 21 provided to a microcomputer 20 for channel selection stores the channel selection data, the sound volume control data, etc. A photodetector 22 receives the transmitted remote control signal for channel selection, etc. Thus the corresponding channel selection data is read out of the memory 21 and supplied to a D/A converter 24 to be converted into the PWM output. This output is converted into the prescribed channel selection voltage VC by an integrator 25. Thus a designated channel is selected automatically. The band switching data is supplied to a band switching circuit 26 from a channel selecting microcomputer 20 in relation to said channel selecting action. Then the band switching signals are supplied to a turner 1 for low and high channels and a UHF channel respectively.

The control circuit 20 has a CPU21, a ROM22, a RAM23 and an I/O24, a remote control signal from the commander is inputted from the input port of the I/O port 24, and a mode changeover key 28 in the receiver main body and a timer key 29 turning on/off the reservation timer are connected. In order to supply the synchronizing pulse to the clock timer of the CPU21, a commercial AC source 37 and a pulsing circuit 38 are provided. When the commercial AC source is switched, the power supply synchronizing input data is fetched to the RAM23 to change the clock timing of the clock timer.
