PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball chain with a fail-safe function.SOLUTION: The ball chain is formed by forming synthetic resin balls with an equal interval on a cord to be fixed, and both end parts of the ball chain are connected by a connecting part to get endless, the connecting part 16 includes an engagement part formed into the shape same to that of the ball, the engagement part is constituted of the first engagement part 21 provided with a shaft-like engagement protrusion 22, and the second engagement part 25 provided with an engagement hole 26 engageable with the engagement protrusion 22, and the engagement protrusion 22 is elastically engageable with the engagement hole 26.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window blind operation device easily attachable to and detachable from a head box. SOLUTION: A power transmission member 340 rotated integrally with a pulley 320 is provided to the pulley while being exposed to the outside of a pulley case 81. The power transmission member 340 is detachably connected to the input shafts of input bevel gears 32, 33 which are provided so as to be exposed to the outside of the head box 11. The pulley 320 and the pulley case 81 which rotatably stores and supports the pulley can be collectively removed from the head box 11 without a tool by merely removing the power transmission member 340 from the input shafts of the input bevel gears 32, 33. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device of shading equipment, which enables a head box to be supported without the use of a mounting screw between opposed mounting surfaces, and which can reduce the depth of the head box. SOLUTION: The fixing device of the shading equipment enables the head box to be fixed between the opposed mounting surfaces by a temporary fixing means which can protrude/recede in the longitudinal direction of the head box at the at least one end of the head box, and a fixing means which is urged in the direction of protruding from the end of the head box by an urging means. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar radiation shielding device allowing a weight member of sufficient weight to be fitted without enlarging an intermediate rail. SOLUTION: In this solar radiation shielding device, a bottom rail is suspended and supported from a head box through a first elevating cord, and the intermediate rail 3 is suspended and supported from the head box through a second elevating cord. An upper shielding material is disposed between the head box and the intermediate rail 3, and a lower shielding material is disposed between the intermediate rail 3 and the bottom rail. The bottom rail can be elevated by operating the first elevating cord, and the intermediate rail 3 can be elevated by operating the second elevating cord. A weight member 21 is fitted to the intermediate rail 3, and the weight member 21 can be inserted into the intermediate rail 3 from the upper part or lower part of the intermediate rail 3.
