Abstract: PURPOSE:To reconcile the handling properties of a film fitted with a support film and those thereof after peeling even when the film is made extremely thin by adding inert particles to a resin composition so as to satisfy a specific condition. CONSTITUTION:In a biaxially stretched film composed of a crystalline thermoplastic resin composition (A), inert particles are added to the resin composition (A) so as to satisfy formulae (1)-(5). A support film composed of a resin composition (B) is laminated to the biaxially oriented film in a releasable state. The resin composition (A) is one based on polyethylene terephthalate and the thickness of the film is 0.2-1.0 mum. As the inert particles, silica particles composed of colloidal silica or particles of a crosslinked polymer are used. Since these particles are good in the compatibility with a polymer and voids are hard to generate in the peripheries of the particles at the time of stretching, the film having good voltage resistance is obtained. Even when the biaxially oriented film is made extremely thin, the handling properties of the film fitted with the support film and those of the extremely thin film are reconciled.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent peeling between layers, improper insulation due to metal spraying by continuously conducting a series of steps of longitudinally slitting a metallized laminated film, then peeling only metallized dielectric layer, winding to laminate the dielectric layer by a concurrent integral winding method to form a capacitor base continuously without winding the film. CONSTITUTION:First, a metallized laminated film is so longitudinally slit that one cut seam is formed at one metallized stripe on a metallized part near a nonmetallized stripe. Then, only a metallized dielectric layer of a front layer is peeled from the seamed film, dielectric layers are wound to be laminated to obtain a capacity base. The wound layer is pressed substantially in the perpendicular direction to the front surface while heating before the layer is separated at the base along the seam at the time of winding and laminating or after the winding and laminating by a concurrent integral winding method. Then, the separating surfaces of the separated bases are metal-sprayed to form an outer electrode, thereby forming a base element.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title film excellent in heat resistance, mechanical properties, etc., by producing poly-p-phenylene sulfide wherein the difference between the amount of a xylene-soluble oligomer and that of an acetone-soluble oligomer is in a specified range, forming this polymer into a film and biaxially stretching this film. CONSTITUTION:In producing poly-p-phenylene sulfide by, for example, a process comprising reacting sodium sulfide with a p-dihalobenzene in N- methylpyrrolidone, the polymerization temperature, the polymerization time, the kinds of adjuvants used (e.g., sodium acetate), the time of washing with an organic solvent after polymerization, etc. are specified. In this way, a poly-p- phenylene sulfide wherein the difference between the amount of a xylene-soluble oligomer and that of an acetone-soluble oligomer is 0.1-2wt.% can be produced. This polymer is molded into a film, and this film is biaxially stretched to obtain a biaxially oriented poly-p-phenylene sulfide film.
