Abstract: PURPOSE:To maintain the permeation of oxygen through an oxygen absorber at a high rate while shielding the oxygen absorber accurately from water in a sealing type receiving body in introducing the oxygen absorber in the receiving body and retain a high oxygen absorbing ability of the oxygen absorber for a long period of time. CONSTITUTION:The sealing type receiving body has fixed thereto a laminate structure which is constituted of an oxygen absorbing layer having an oxygen absorbent embedded in resin on at least a part of the inner side of the receiving body and of an oxygen permeable layer containing an asymmetrical porous layer located in the oxygen absorbing layer on the inner side of the receiving body and having a fine, thin film layer formed in the thickness direction on the inner side of the receiving body.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the title permselective membrane from being charged and to obviate the deterioration in the performance due to static electricity by forming >=1 layer of the composite membrane with an electrically conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:A conductive layer is provided on the back of at least a porous supporting membrane of the composite membrane consisting of the porous supporting membrane and a functional membrane. A material consisting essen tially of a surfactant is used for the conductive layer, and the surface resistivity is controlled to OMEGA. Any porous formed article can be used as the porous supporting membrane, and the microporous supporting membrane having 0.005-0.1mu pore diameter and permeable to air is preferably used. A material capable of separating a gaseous and liq. material to be separated, especially capable of separating an oxygen/nitrogen mixture, is used as the functional membrane. Since the conductive layer is brought into contact with the functional membrane surface when the composite membrane is wound, the layer of the surfactant is preferably used as the conductive layer, because the functional membrane is not damaged by such a conductive layer and the gas separability is not deteriorated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To dry and fix a low-viscosity paint on a base material without allowing the paint to flow and flocculate by providing fans to a hot wind supply port side and hot wind discharge port side and controlling the hot wind flow rate in an oven to a very low flow rate. CONSTITUTION:The fans 19, 20 are respectively provided to the hot wind passages on the hot wind supply port 17 side and hot wind discharge port 18 side of the device for drying the low-viscosity paint coated on the sheet-like base material in the hot wind oven. The fan 19 controls the supply of the hot wind at the very low flow rate through the port 17 into the oven 13 and the fan 20 controls the discharge of the hot wind from the inside of the oven 13 at the very low flow rate. The hot wind flow rate in the oven is thus easily uniformly controlled to the very low flow rate in the above-mentioned manner, the low-viscosity paint is dried and fixed over the entire surface of the base material without allowing the paint to flow and flocculate on the base material.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To uniformly coat a low-viscosity paint on a base material by providing heat insulating between a mouthpiece and oven inlet to extremely shorten the time until the low-viscosity paint discharged from the mouthpiece begins to be dried in the oven. CONSTITUTION:This invention relates to a device for drying the low-viscosity paint coated on the sheet-like base material, in which an auxiliary discharge port 19 is provided as a means for sucking hot wind from the inlet 18 to the mouthpiece 14 side to the inlet part of the oven 13 and a heat insulating material 20 is provided between the oven 13 and the mouthpiece 14 on the outside surface of the port 19. The distance between the mouthpiece 14 and the oven 13 is kept within 6sec in the time for conveying the material 11. Then the flowing and flocculation of the low-viscosity paint on the base material until the start of drying are then obviated and the paint of the thin film having the uniform thickness is dried and fixed on the base material.

CONSTITUTION:An extremely thin membrane C comprising a polyorganosiloxane/silphenylene copolymer having a repeating unit represented by formula is interposed between a porous support A and an extremely thin membrane B comprising a polymer having high gas separation capacity to form a gas separation composite membrane. The extremely thin membrane B pref. comprises poly (4-methylpenten-1) or polyvinyl trimethylsilane and the thickness thereof is 0.01-0.3mum. The n/m ratio of the constitutional unit of the extremely thin membrane C is 5-20 and the thickness thereof is pref. 0.01-0.3mum.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a permselective composite membrane having no pinhole and excellent in gas permeability, by forming polyorganosiloxane crosslinked by tetrafunctional or more silane and siloxane crosslinking agents into an extremely thin membrane. CONSTITUTION:Tetrafunctional or more condensed type silane and siloxane crosslinking agents reacting the terminal silanol group of polyorganosiloxane, for example, tetraacetoxysilane or ethyl polysilicate, polyorganosiloxane and a catalyst such as dibutyltin diacetate are dissolved in a non-aqueous solution to prepare a dilute solution. This dilute solution is thinly and uniformly applied onto a porous support and the coated support is heated and dried to obtain a composite membrane.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a composite membrane excellent in gas permeability and showing no change with the elapse of time in high selectivity of gas, by applying low temp. plasma treatment due to non-polymerizable gas to the surface of a gas separating composite membrane before forming a silicon-containing polymer membrane layer. CONSTITUTION:A gas separating composite membrane is one prepared by forming a membrane layer with a thickness of 0.01-0.5mum comprising a high-molecular substance to a porous support. The high-molecular substance is not especially limited if one having capacity showing membrane forming property upon the reception of plasma action is used. Low temp. plasma treatment is applied to said composite membrane by using non-polymerizable gas such as hydrogen, helium or nitrogen and a silicon-containing polymer layer is formed to the surface thereof. This membrane layer may be formed of a copolymer is polydimethylsiloxane by a known method. The membrane thickness is pref. about 0.01-0.3mum.

CONSTITUTION:A layer of a discharge graft (co) polymer consisting of a fluorine- containing unsaturated monomer is formed on the surface of a high polymer substrate, e.g. polythylene, regenerated cellulose, polyvinyl chloride, polyester, polycarbonate, etc, in the form of a block, plate ro film. The substrate is exposed to high-voltage discharge in an active or inactive gas to form active sites on the surface, which are brought into contact with a fluorine-containing unsaturated monomer, e.g. a methyl methacrylate derivative, etc., thus forming a graft (co) polymer layer on the surface.
