Abstract: The invention discloses a method for producing a three dimensional molded product from cellulose fibers, comprising the steps of: -providing a cellulose fiber composition comprising 1-30wt% lignin, said cellulose fiber composition further having a solid content between 0.1-95%; -providing a forming tool having a three dimensional shape including a forming surface, and bringing said forming surface into contact with the cellulose fiber composition; and -press drying the cellulose fiber composition contacted by the forming tool at temperatures >200°C to a dry content of at least 70%. The invention also relates to a three dimensional fiber based product obtainable by means of said method.

Abstract: The invention relates to a ply of a linerboard for corrugated board, which ply exhibits high strength properties and which enables the production of lightweight linerboards. The ply of the invention comprises 20 –80 wt % CTMP from wood fibers and 80 –20 wt% chemical pulp, calculated on the total fiber weight of said ply and strength additives chosen from the group of microfibrillated cellulose (MFC), anionic or cationic polymers and starchor combinations thereof. The ply exhibits a geometric SCT index of above 22 Nm/g and a density of below 680 kg/m 3 , preferably of below 650 kg/m 3.
