Abstract:
A chair type massaging device being capable of treating the forearm of a subject in case of need, having no portion above the armrest that interferes with the placement of the arm when the forearm is not treated, and allowing the subject to take a free posture; and a forearm massaging machine used in this chair type massaging device. Therefore, the massaging device has a detachable member (38) installed on an armrest (5) for movement along guide rails (37), with a fitting groove (39) formed in the detachable member (38). A forearm massaging machine (7) constructed to be capable of grasping the forearm of a subject by a fixed support (46) and a gripper (47) to apply a pressing stimulus to the forearm is provided with a fitting projection (40). The forearm massaging machine (7) can be removably mounted on the armrest (5) by removably fitting the fitting projection (40) in the fitting groove (39).
Abstract:
An abdominal massage and/or stimulation device including massaging projections (2') rotated and/or caused to perform multiple relatively slow movements by a drive unit (3'), and arranged on a housing which contains the drive unit and comprises supports for supporting the bony portions of a user's body, such as the pelvis and the rib cage. Said device is particularly suitable for promoting health by improving gut motility.
Abstract:
The device is intended to make massages of the left side of the user's back independently from the right side of the user's back, with the added possibility of regulating the intensity of such massage also independently in the modes of kneading, tapping vertical displacement. It has four independent motors (1, 3, 10 and 12) governed by a control unit (18) and which transmit the rotation to respective excentric (2, 4, 11 and 14) or centered (22) axes which are connected to conventional massage applicating elements (5 and 14). Said axes (2, 4, 11 and 14) or (22) include sensors (17) which inform on the angular position. The device is also provided with two motors (9 and 16) for the vertical displacement which are also connected to the control unit (18).
Abstract:
A vibrator, wherein massaging balls (treating elements) (201a to 201d) are supported by a treating unit (110) allowed to move along guide rails (101L, 101R), and the treating unit (110) swingably supports a roller support link for lifting (409) rotatably supporting a roller for lifting (311), whereby the position of the treating unit (110) in longitudinal direction relative to the guide rails (101L, 101R) can be altered on either the upper and lower sides by altering the swing angle of the roller support link for lifting (409).
Abstract:
A suspended footrest device for supporting and exercising a user's feet and legs. The footrest device includes a pair of footrests that are pivotally connected to the opposed ends of a rigid elongated member. A non-rigid suspension member is connected to a medial section of the elongated member to suspend the footrests. The footrests are pivotally connected to the rigid elongated member.
Abstract:
Provided is a massage device for giving a variety of non-boring kneading and massage feelings to a to-be-treated part. The massage device of the invention comprises: paired left and right massage members having a treatment element, and a massage mechanism for operating at least one of the paired massage members to cause the treatment elements to move close to and away from each other in the horizontal direction to produce kneading actions. The massage member has an arm member extending substantially perpendicularly to the approaching/separating direction, and the treatment element is disposed at the front end of the arm member so that an extended line L extending along the protruding direction of the arm member passes through the interior of the treatment element.
