PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide long and thin filterable elements which are used especially in order to remove sediment from rainwater in regard to a device, system and method of removing the sediment from the water.SOLUTION: A method of removing sediment from water is disclosed. In a disclosed exemplary embodiment, a filter chamber 701 has a deck, which divides the filter chamber 701 into an upper chamber and a lower chamber and is arranged inside. The deck includes a plurality of holes for holding filter elements 400, and includes either or both of a bulge part and a skirt. An inlet line 702 is connected to the filter chamber in a tangent line direction, and introduces an inflow liquid into a first chamber beneath the deck on an outside of the skirt.

The invention relates to a method for filtration and/or stabilisation of fluids, in particular of beer and a pre-coated filter for application therein, with a filter vessel comprising an inlet for pre-filtrate into a pre-filtrate chamber, several filter elements arranged in the pre-filtrate chamber and an outlet for the filtrate. In order to achieve an improved coating and a reduction in the amount of inert agent, at least one outlet for the pre-filtrate is arranged in the pre-filtrate chamber.

The invention relates to a method for cleaning filter housings, especially for cleaning the unfiltrate area of boiler filters, wherein filter candles are fixed on an intermediate bottom separating the filtrate area from the unfiltrate area and the unfiltrate area is rinsed with cleaning fluid. The invention also relates to a device for cleaning said filter housings. According to the invention, practically all the inner walls of said filter are rinsed with the cleaning fluid from the upper area downwards. To this end, a cleaning agent is directed in the upper area of the unfiltrate area against the lower wall of the intermediate bottom and/or against the upper area of the wall of the unfiltrate area, the direction of the flow being such that a substantially hermetic cleaning film can be guided down from the upper wall of the unfiltrate area to the latter.

A precoat filtration element for a condensate polisher system that yields high weld strength in the form of a septa having a core with a plurality of perforations and wound filter elements, the wound filter elements wound around said core, and the septa including an extension flange at one end; and an end fitting having a solid base and a threaded post, the end fitting being slideably engaged within the extension flange such that an outside wall of the solid base is in mechanical contact with an inside wall of said extension flange, and upon insertion, the threaded post is coaxial with the septa center axis, and extends longitudinally outwards away from said septa. Spot welding the end fitting solid base to the extension flange provides high tensile strength over prior art designs.

Eine Filtervorrichtung für Fluide, insbesondere für niedrigviskose Flüssigkeiten wie Wasser, mit einem Filtergehäuse (1), in dem Elementaufnahmen (31) für eine Mehrzahl von Filterelementen (21) vorgesehen sind, deren Filtermedium (35) im Filtergehäuse (1) eine Rohseite (5) von einer Reinseite (7) trennt, wobei das Filtergehäuse (1) für das Einsetzen und Herausnehmen der Filterelemente (21) offenbar ist, ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass für die Filterelemente (21) ein Träger in der Art eines Korbes (19) vorgesehen ist, der in das Filtergehäuse (1) einsetzbar und aus diesem herausnehmbar ist und an dem die Filterelemente (21) lösbar festlegbar sind.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein Filterelement (4) zum Entfernen gasförmiger und/oder flüssiger und/oder fester Verunreinigungen aus einer flüssigen oder gasförmigen Fluidströmung (5), mit mehreren hülsenförmigen Filterkörpern (10) aus einem Filtermaterial (11), die jeweils ein axial offenes Ende (12) und ein axial geschlossenes Ende (13) aufweisen und die parallel durchströmbar angeordnet sind. Eine preiswerte Herstellung ergibt sich, wenn die Filterkörper (10) als Formteile ausgestaltet sind, die aus dem Filtermaterial (11) geformt sind.

For providing a filter element having an improved handling and operating characteristic, a filter element is suggested which comprises a filter body with a porous, fluid permeable, rigid filter wall having an inner and an outer peripheral surface, said inner peripheral surface defining an inner cavity receiving filtered fluid, said filter wall comprising on its outer peripheral surface two or more elements reducing fluid flow of non-filtered fluid to selected areas of the outer peripheral surface, said outer peripheral surface of the filter wall having an essentially flat or convex configuration between each of two proximate fluid flow reducing elements.
