    Abstract: Methods and systems for elevator control are provided. The methods and systems include receiving, by a computing device comprising a processor, a request for at least one service associated with an elevator system from a user device, controlling an elevator car to travel to a specific floor in accordance with the request, controlling an elevator car door to be closed upon arriving at the specific floor, transmitting an indicator to the user device that the elevator car has arrived at the specific floor, and controlling the elevator car door to open upon receiving, by the computing device, an access request from the user device.

    Abstract: An exemplary method of controlling an elevator system includes determining that a new passenger requests elevator service from a departure floor to a destination floor. Any candidate elevator cars are ranked. A number of stops for each assigned passenger for a ranked candidate elevator car is determined if the new passenger were assigned to that car. A determination is made whether any ranked candidate elevator car is a qualified car that can accept the new passenger and limit a number of stops for each passenger assigned to that car to a desired maximum number of stops. The new passenger is assigned to a qualified car that has a most favorable ranking of any qualified cars.

    Abstract: An exemplary method of controlling an elevator system includes determining that a new passenger requests elevator service a departure floor to a destination floor. The passenger guidance system includes: a sensor, arranged to collect object feature data of a passenger going towards an elevator; a processing device, in communication with the sensor and an elevator system, for receiving the object feature data and comparing the object feature data with stored passenger information to learn information of a target floor of a successfully matched passenger, and learning a target elevator currently dispatched corresponding to the target floor according to elevator running information of the elevator system; and a guidance device, in communication with the processing device, for forming a sign to at least guide the successfully matched passenger to go towards the target elevator. The present invention can be applied to humanistically and intelligently guide the passenger to reach the target elevator, and bring good elevator taking experience to users.

    Abstract: According to an example embodiment, an apparatus for scheduling elevator transport in an elevator system comprising one or more elevators is provided. The apparatus may be configured to: obtain, for a plurality of passengers, a respective transport request for elevator transport using said one or more elevators, the transport request comprising at least respective indications of an origin floor, a destination floor and a requested transport time window; derive, in dependence of said plurality of transport requests, a transport schedule that includes a respective transport allocation for each of said plurality of passengers, wherein a transport allocation for a passenger is derived in accordance with the requested transport time window indicated for the respective passenger, in view of transport allocations derived for other passengers and in view of a transport capacity of said one or more elevators and wherein the transport allocation for a passenger comprises at least a scheduled transport time for the respective passenger; and operate said one or more elevators in accordance with the derived transport schedule.
