Abstract:
A floor plank comprises a first sheet (71) having at least one base layer, a print design located above said base layer, and at least one wear layer located above said print design and a second sheet (72) adhered to the lower surface of the first sheet, wherein two adjacent sides of the second sheet have projections to interlock with recesses from an adjacent floor plank and two other adjacent sides have recesses to interlock with projections from an adjacent floor plank, wherein said projections and recesses have a complementary shape to each other to be interlockingly engageable with corresponding recesses or projections on an adjacent floor plank. The projections extend beyond two adjacent sides of the first sheet and the recesses do not extend beyond said first sheet and are concealed by said first sheet. A portion of the lower surface of the first sheet that is located directly above said recesses and/or the upper surfaces of the projections have an adhesive coating.
Abstract:
A modular tile[100, 600] configured to interlock with multiple tiles to form a modular floor covering over a floor [101, 601]. The tile includes a surface [110, 610] having a periphery defining side walls extending downward from the surface [110, 610], the side walls [122, 622] having a coupling portion [124, 624] configured to couple with other tiles adjacent thereto to form the modular floor covering. The tile [100, 600] also includes a bottom side [112, 612], opposite the surface [110, 610], having a support grid including an array of downward extending post structures in the form of primary post structures [130]. Some of the post structures [130] include at least one resilient end portion [134] with a radial end surface [136] configured to be positioned against the floor [101. 601] to facilitate controlled deflection of the structures. The post structures may comprise primary and secondary post structures [630, 660], with the secondary post structures [660] limiting the deflection of the primary post structures [630].
Abstract:
Abstract:
An interlockable surface covering element comprises a first planar portion (1) and a second planar portion (2) arranged to provide a series of interlockable protrusions and undercuts which may be used to connect together a number of elements into an interlocked array. One planar portion has a circular envelope and is divided into six sectors, each alternate sector (3, 4, 5) being a re-entrant of the same radius. The second planar portion is a hexagon. The elements are generally made of wood and can be interconnected in the manner of parquet to provide an interlocked surface covering.
Abstract:
A board 1 for installing a wooden floor in a herringbone pattern has two long sides of which a first long side 7 is provided with a main groove 15 and a second long side 9 is provided with a main tongue 17, and has two short sides 11, 13, which are both provided with a transverse tongue 19, 21. The two transverse tongues on the short sides are disposed right opposite to each other and in the middle of the short side. The second long side 9 is further provided with two auxiliary grooves 23, 25 spaced apart from each other which are each disposed adjacent to an end of the long side, while the distance 27 between an end of a transverse tongue 19, 21 and the most remote long side is as great as the distance 29 between a short side and the most remote end of the auxiliary groove 23, 25 adjacent to this short side.
Abstract:
Floor panel, wherein this floor panel (1) comprises a substrate (6) and a top layer (7) provided on this substrate (6), wherein the top layer (7) is composed at least of a print (9) and a transparent thermoplastic layer (10) having a thickness (T2) of 0.5 mm or less and being situated above said print (9), wherein this floor panel (1), at least on two opposite edges (2-3), is provided with a straight or curved chamfer (38), characterized in that said chamfer (38) extends to below the global level (N1) of said print (9).
Abstract:
It is disclosed an assembly system for floor and/or wall tiles. The assembly system includes anchoring means between tiles arranged in a coplanar plane. The system is characterized in that the anchoring means are determined from portions curved in the shape of a groove located in the underside of the tiles and matching the side edges of the tiles that guide said curved portions to converge on said edges. When the tiles are put together next to each other head to head and at the point where the corners converge, these curved grooved portions form a channel on the underside of the tiles inside which male elements fit tightly in at least a portion of it to couple and engage at least two adjacent tiles.
