The invention relates to a device for opening of doors. Electromechanical systems contain many expensive components and are thereby expensive to manufacture. Installed electromechanical systems are expensive in operation by virtue of the high and energy-demanding friction which always are present in mechanical constructions. The present operating device is less energy-demanding by the formed transmission of power via two piston-like parts (5 and 6). A driving device (2) is arranged to drive the piston-like part (5) and the second piston-like part (6) is connected to an operable element.

A door unit for a display cabinet. The door unit comprises frame for holding, in use, at least an upper and a lower sliding door, and linking means for selectively linking the two doors such that when a first one of the doors is opened the linking means engages with the second one of the doors to pull it open also and when the second one of the doors is opened the linking means disengages such that the first door remains closed. The linking means is configured to be concealed from a user.

A combined hydraulic and pneumatic actuation system (10) including a cylinder (12), a first piston (22), and a second piston (24). The cylinder may include a first cylinder portion (36) configured to hold or retain a first fluid and a second cylinder portion (38) configured to hold or retain a second fluid. The first piston can be operatively coupled or in fluid communication with the first fluid, and the second piston can be operatively coupled or in fluid communication with the second fluid. The second piston may be disposed between the first cylinder portion and the second cylinder portion. In an embodiment, the first piston can move or translate axially within the cylinder independently of the second piston, and an increase in pressure in the second cylinder portion can actuate the first piston and the second piston. Further, in embodiments, the first fluid can comprise a liquid, and the second fluid can comprise a gas.

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kolbens eines Türantriebs beschrieben, wobei zunächst ein Einlegeteil in ein Formnest einer Spritzgussform eingelegt wird, das weiterhin an eine Verzahnung eines Verzahnungsstegs des Einlegeteils an eine korrespondierende Verzahnung eines Kerns im Formnest angelegt und die Spritzgussform geschlossen wird. Es wird Kunststoff durch wenigstens einen Angusskanal, vorzugsweise durch mindestens zwei längs der Erstreckung des Verzahnungsstegs beabstandet angeordnete Angusskanäle, die in Richtung auf den Verzahnungssteg gerichtet sind, eingespritzt, wodurch die Verzahnung des Verzahnungsstegs bündig und ohne Spalt an der Verzahnung des Kerns anliegt und die Verzahnung des Verzahnungsstegs in Anlage mit der Verzahnung des Kerns völlig frei von Kunststoff bleibt. Nach Öffnen der Spritzgussform erfolgt das Entnehmen des umspritzten Kolbens.

A locking mechanism (100) for use with a pneumatic cylinder/differential engine for a power-operated door including a locking rod (20), a plunger (24) associated with the locking rod (20) to cause extension and retraction of the locking rod (20) with respect to a door opening/closing gear (46), and a spring member (34) associated with the plunger (24) for maintaining the plunger (24) and the locking rod (20) in an extended position during a door closed position. An aperture (46a) is located through a sidewall portion of the gear hub (46b) which is capable of receiving an end (20a) of the locking rod (20) when the locking rod is in an extended position to lock the door in a door closed position. The invention also includes an emergency door opening mechanism enabling manual opening of the doors in case of an emergency.

The rod has a sealing ring (6) arranged at the flanges and fits an inner wall of a shutter housing. An outer liner of the rod is formed in the wall. Guide rings (10) are supported in slots of the flanges and project over an outer casing of the flanges, where areas of the sealing and guide rings are aligned.
