    Abstract: On présente un système et une méthode permettant de commander le mouvement d'un chariot de golf (30) par rapport à une zone interdite sélectionnée (20) sur un parcours de golf, telle qu'un green. Un émetteur de signaux (10) possédant une antenne de transmission (15) est positionné à proximité de la zone interdite sélectionnée (20). Un signal de transmission est produit par l'antenne de transmission (15) dans la zone interdite sélectionnée (20). Un récepteur de signaux (35) muni d'une antenne de réception (33) est fixé sur le chariot de golf (30) ce qui permet de recevoir le signal de transmission lorsque le chariot de golf se déplace à proximité de l'antenne de transmission (15). Une alarme (48) sur le chariot de golf est activée lorsque le signal de transmission reçu par l'antenne de réception (33) atteint un niveau prédéterminé ce qui permet d'indiquer à un utilisateur du chariot de golf (30) que le chariot s'est déplacé vers une zone interdite (20) du parcours. La période d'activation de la première alarme (48) est réglée de telle sorte qu'une deuxième alarme (49) sur le chariot de golf peut être activée suite à l'expiration d'une période de temps prédéterminée d'activation de la première alarme (48). La deuxième alarme (49) avertit l'utilisateur que le chariot de golf (30) est resté dans la zone interdite (20) durant la période de temps prédéterminée. Le chariot de golf (30) peut également être empêché de se déplacer vers l'avant suite à une période de temps prédéterminée d'activation de la première alarme (48) dans le but d'empêcher le chariot (30) de pénétrer davantage dans la zone interdite.
