Abstract: A vehicular trailering assist system includes a camera and an image processor operable to process image data captured by the camera. The vehicular trailering assist system iteratively predicts a plurality of predicted trailer angles based on a corresponding plurality of potential trailer beam lengths ranging between an upper dimension above a baseline trailer beam length and a lower dimension below the baseline trailer beam length and selects a trailer angle from the plurality of predicted trailer angles that least deviates from a current trailer angle determined via processing by the image processor of image data captured by the camera. The potential trailer beam length that corresponds to the selected trailer angle that least deviates from the determined current trailer angle is used in determining trailer angles for that trailer during future drives of the vehicle when towing that particular trailer.

Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and tangible non-transitory computer readable media for determining orientation are provided. The disclosed technology can include capturing images of an environment visible in a field of view of the mobile computing device. Location data associated with a location of the mobile computing device can be received. Image data including information associated with the images can be generated. Based on the image data and one or more machine-learned models, features of one or more objects in the environment can be determined. Based on the location data and the features of the objects, respective orientations of the objects relative to the location of the mobile computing device can be determined. Furthermore, orientation data that includes a geographic orientation of the mobile computing device can be generated based on the respective (geographic) orientations of the objects.

Abstract: A system for controlling platooning by a following vehicle includes a main body of the following vehicle. The system further includes a pressure sensor located in or on the main body and configured to detect a pressure corresponding to a pressure wake from a leading vehicle. The system further includes an electronic control unit (ECU) located in or on the main body, coupled to the pressure sensor, and configured to determine an optimal distance from the following vehicle to the leading vehicle based on the detected pressure. The optimal distance corresponding to a distance at which drag applied to the following vehicle is reduced based on the pressure wake from the leading vehicle.

Abstract: An automatic car wash system and an automatic car wash method are disclosed. A washing path is created for each of common vehicles on the market. The washing path is generated by manually pulling a washing unit to move along the contour of a vehicle, without any dead spots. When the vehicle is to be washed, the washing path corresponding to the type of the vehicle is selected, and the washing unit is driven to wash the vehicle along the washing path. The automatic car wash system can wash different vehicles fully, without dead spots, improving the cleanliness of automatic car wash greatly.

The autonomous driving control apparatus receives a control signal including user vehicle information from a server using the communication device; controls a mobility device to a specified place based on the control signal; obtains at least one piece of image data about at least one vehicle in the specified place using the sensor device; detects at least one of 2D data, 3D data, or a combination thereof for each of the at least one vehicle based on the at least one piece of image data; and searches for a user vehicle among the at least one vehicle based on at least one of the at least one piece of image data, the 2D data, the 3D data, the user vehicle information, or a combination thereof.
