Abstract:
A watch band can provide both a physical connection and an electrical connection with a watch body of a watch. The watch band is fixed relative to the watch body and an electrical connection is either performed either simultaneously or shortly thereafter. The electrical connection enables data and power transfer between the watch body and the watch band. The electrical connection can also be performed by a secondary user interaction. Secondary user inactions can involve the user sliding, pulling, pushing, or rotating a portion of the watch band or watch body.
Abstract:
A secondary disconnect assembly is for an electrical switching apparatus. The secondary disconnect assembly includes a mounting member and a cradle assembly coupled to the mounting member and being movable among a plurality of positions with respect to the mounting member. The cradle assembly includes an inner cradle. When the inner cradle is disposed in a first predetermined one of the positions, movement of the inner cradle is restricted with respect to the mounting member. When the inner cradle is moved toward a second predetermined one of the positions, the inner cradle moves independently with respect to the mounting member.
Abstract:
In various examples, a connector apparatus includes at least one connector including an integral conductor and an encapsulation housing. The at least one connector includes a contact portion and a tail portion, wherein the contact portion is configured to selectively accept and electrically couple to a therapy delivery element. The tail portion extends outwardly from the contact portion. The encapsulation housing at least partially surrounds at least some of the contact portion of the conductor. The encapsulation housing includes an inner surface, wherein at least some of the contact portion of the conductor extends from the inner surface of the encapsulation housing. With a contact of the therapy delivery element disposed within the encapsulation housing, the conductor is configured to contact and electrically couple with the contact of the therapy delivery element.
Abstract:
This invention relates to an electrical connection device on a plate-type or strip-type material (1, 1′), which cannot be soldered or is difficult to solder or which is provided with a surface that cannot be soldered or is difficult to solder, having the following characteristics. A self clutching bolt (5) is provided with a bolt head (7) that, relative to the bolt body (9) beneath, has a tapered cross section such that the bolt head (7) transitions, by way of a conical or shoulder-like sloping flank (11), into the bolt body (9) having an outer circumference (9′) that has a diameter larger than that of the bolt head (7). The outer circumference (9′) of the bolt body (9) is of smooth design, or is provided with a knurling (15). In the penetration area of the self-clinching bolt (5), the plate-type or strip-type material (1, 1′) is provided with a non-flanged material edge (101). Within the material edge (10), the self-clinching bolt (5) is press-fit with a peripheral area of the bold body (9) thereof, thus creating a force fit.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an antenna device having at least one antenna structure (5-10) fixed to a vehicle window (3). The base point terminal connections of each antenna have contact points (11) which form a termination panel (4) surrounded by a base (1) arranged on the vehicle window (3) in which a radio frequency device (2) can be removably fixed, whose connection terminals maybe connected to contact points (11) without using any connecting lines.
Abstract:
A waterproof connector provided with: one or more contacts (12, 13); a metal shell (14) covering the outer peripheral part of the contacts (12, 13); a housing (19) comprising an insulating resin for holding the contacts (12, 13) and the shell (14); and a seamless waterproof member (20) arranged on the outer periphery of the housing (19). The shell (14) has an engaging part (15A), a shell-side substrate connection part (15H), a shell-side fixed part (15D), and a shell-side waterproof shaped part (15E) formed on the surface of the shell-side fixed part (15D). The contacts (12, 13) have contact points (12A, 13A), contact-side substrate connection parts (12C, 13C), contact-side fixed parts (12B, 13B), and contact-side waterproof shaped parts (12E, 13E) formed on the surface of the contact-side fixed parts (12B, 13B). The engaging part (15A) has a pair of flat shell outer surfaces (15C) facing in mutually opposite directions. The shell-side fixed part (15D) is arranged nearer an axis of engagement (C) with a counterpart connector than the shell outer surfaces (15C) of the engaging part (15A), as viewed from the direction of the axis of engagement (C). The shell-side waterproof shaped part (15E), the contact-side waterproof shaped parts (12E, 13E), and the waterproof member (20) are arranged at mutually overlapping positions in the direction of the axis of engagement (C).
Abstract:
Electrical connector for supplying current to electronic circuits. The connector comprises a flat metal bar and an insulating case (12) having an open cavity (16) extended by an inclined support (18) covered by an end portion (20) of the bar.
