Abstract: PURPOSE: An auxiliary LCD for a portable wireless terminal is provided to perform an additional PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) function by installing the auxiliary LCD on a battery pack installation surface of the portable wireless terminal. CONSTITUTION: A guide member including a guide groove(11) and a guide rib(21) is formed so that a battery pack(20) is installed on a battery pack installation surface of a terminal(10) by a sliding scheme. An auxiliary LCD(15) is installed on the battery pack installation surface of the terminal(10). A sensing member including a hall sensor(16) and a magnet senses when the battery pack(20) slides at an external side of the terminal(10) to a location in which an auxiliary LCD(15) is. A control unit receives a signal sensed by the sensing member, and turns off a main LCD, and turns on the auxiliary LCD(15).
