Abstract: PURPOSE: A telephone communication system is provided to use a camera or a display device in order to make a call between a telephone phone and a portable phone which cannot receive a service with the television phone. CONSTITUTION: A call is made between a portable phone(1) which does not have a moving image photographing/reproducing function and a portable television phone(6) through a portable phone network(8). A service center(4a) consists of plural call agents and plural media converters, and is disposed on the portable phone network(8). The call agents call other party's portable phone. A user obtains an ID by requesting the ID to receive a television phone service by calling the service center(4a) from the portable phone(1). The requested ID is displayed on a screen by generating a bar code on the portable phone(1). A sensor or camera(2) demodulates the ID, and informs the service server(4a) of the demodulated ID. The service center(4a) starts photographing by driving a street camera(3). The photographed image is delivered to the portable phone(1).
