Abstract: PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having a scanning device is provided to manufacture a product at a low cost by using natural light for a scanning operation and have little influence on the battery power consumption of a mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A lower plate(120) includes a plurality of key pads. An upper plate(110) is installed to be slid at an upper side of the surface of the lower plate(120) where the key pads are formed and includes an LCD display window at its front surface. A scanner unit(130) is installed at a rear surface of the upper plate(110). A light reflection member(140) formed near the scanner unit(130) reflects light to an object. A plurality of through holes(111) induce light introduced toward the front surface of the upper plate(110) in consideration that the scanner unit(130) is installed at the rear surface of the upper plate(110).
