Abstract:
A method for T.38 gateway processing non-standard frames, wherein the T.38 gateway comprises at least a transmitting gateway and a receiving gateway, and the transmitting gateway connects to a transmitting facsimile, and the receiving gateway connects to a receiving facsimile, comprises that: a) the transmitting gateway and the receiving gateway judge the types of all of the received V.21 frame; b) when the receiving gateway or the transmitting gateway receives an NSF non-standard frame, modify the NSF non-standard frame, and proceed to transmit the modified non-standard frame. The method of the present invention modifies the facsimile process in which the facsimile rate is negotiated in private frame by the gateway to a process in which negotiation is implemented in standard frame, which ensures the rate parameter can be extracted by the gateway correctly, and the network facsimile can be processed normally.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A communication apparatus, control method of a communication apparatus, and non-temporally computer readable storage medium are provided to prevent a sending error by controlling a transmission unit. CONSTITUTION: When an inputted key is not matched with a menu key, a control unit component determines a number key from the inputted key(S702, S703). When the inputted key is matched with a start key, a facsimile transmission component determines the transmission of a facsimile(S705, S706). When the facsimile is able to transmit a signal, a scanner reads articles through a transmission management component(S707). The facsimile transmission component deletes a transmission address number of a RAM(Random Access Memory)(S709).
Abstract:
Communication-identifier-assigned image data is transmitted via a set channel using a communication identifier set for each image transmitter and a channel set in transmission. Then, a receiver which has received a plurality of image data items stores the received image data items, communication identifiers, and channels in such a manner that the received image data items are related to the communication identifiers and channels. Thumbnailed images in each image data item are displayed on one screen. When an image is selected from the thumbnailed images, an image transmitter that has transmitted the image is determined on the basis of the communication identifier and channel related to the selected image and is connected exclusively to the receiver. Images acquired from this time on are enlarged and displayed chronologically on a display module. The image transmitter and receiver constitute a wireless communication system.

Abstract:
A data communication apparatus is provided with an image reader which reads a document image, a storage which stores image data of the document image read by the image reader and registers one or a plurality of transmitting destinations, a data communication unit having a plurality of communication lines, and a communication control unit which controls a transmission start timing of the image data to the transmitting destinations. The communication control unit controls the data communication unit to start transmitting the image data to a first transmitting destination at a timing when reading of the document image by the image reader starts, when a plurality of transmitting destinations are registered.
Abstract:
An Internet facsimile apparatus 11A makes inquiry about capability, which a destination possesses, to a local server 13A . The server 13A is connected to the same LAN 10A as that of the Internet facsimile apparatus 11A. When the local server 13A has no capability information of the destination, the Internet facsimile apparatus 11A makes inquiry to a DNS server 14A and obtains capability information. Then, the Internet facsimile apparatus 11A makes an image to be suitable for the capability of the destination and transmits it to the destination via the Internet 1 . As a result, the Internet facsimile apparatus 11A on a transmitter side can surely obtain capability information of a destination terminal 11B, thereby making it possible to carry out the same capability exchange as that of G3 facsimile apparatus.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an Internet FAX apparatus which, after receiving an Internet address from a certain destination, can communicate with the same destination in later transmission or during communication by connecting to a LAN and switching to an Internet FAX mode requiring no communication charge. An Internet facsimile apparatus on the receiving side transmits its Internet facsimile function and Internet address on an NSF signal in a standard protocol of G3 facsimile transmission and/or transmits its telephone number, Internet facsimile function, and Internet address on TSI and NSS signals in the standard protocol of G3 facsimile communication. The Internet facsimile apparatus registers an Internet facsimile function and Internet address of a partner apparatus as destination data. The Internet facsimile apparatus communicates with the partner apparatus by using the Internet address in the destination data in later transmission or by disconnecting ordinary facsimile mode communication and switching to the Internet FAX mode.
Abstract:
A communications method, communications system, communications device, and server which confirm performance information of a receiver communications device without negotiating with the receiver communications device before sending data, and sends an image most suited to receiving capability of the receiver communications device. The sender reads out performance information of the receiver communications device stored typically in a server before sending data, and sends data after converting the format of data to be sent based on the performance information. The communications device communicates with the server and sends data in the form of electronic mail and TCP/IP communications. Since, image data is sent after converting its format to that best matched receiving capability of the receiver communications device, the receiver communications device can receive image data best suited to its performance.
