Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide aluminum elements covered on their surfaces with a coating film free from harmful hexavalent chromium compounds and fluorine compounds, particularly, aluminum diecast and aluminum cast materials having excellent paint adhesivity and corrosion resistance. SOLUTION: The coating film for aluminum elements comprises (1) chromium, (2) zinc and (3) cobalt and/or titanium with 95% by mass or more of the chromium being a trivalent chromium. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the working atmosphere around a dissolution tank used in a zinc-plating apparatus performing zincate bath, without causing the complication of a structure, upsizing of the apparatus, and the increase in a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: This dissolution tank has a tank main body 10 for storing a solution, a water-permeable barrel 11 for charging a dissolution material and installed inside the main body 10, and a solution feeding and discharging device 12 which feeds and discharges the solution to and from the main body 10 to make the water level high so that the solution can flow into the barrel 11 and to make the water level low so that the solution can not flow into the barrel 11. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently supplying zinc ions by enhancing zinc dissolution. SOLUTION: In the method for supplying zinc ions to an alkaline zinc plating bath, a source of zinc ions and a zinc dissolution accelerating metal are put in the same vessel and brought into direct contact with each other or put in different vessels and connected via an electric conductor. The source of zinc ions and the zinc dissolution accelerating metal are moved in the vessel(s) by shaking, vibrating or rotating the vessel(s) in order to accelerate zinc dissolution. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkali zincate galvannealing bath, which can be used in a wide range of temperatures, current densities, and concentration conditions, when galvannealing, and provide a galvannealing method. SOLUTION: The alkali zincate galvannealing bath is characterized by including 1-65 g/L zinc, 20-300 g/L alkali hydroxide, 0.001-10 g/L one or more kinds of benzimidazoles, benzothiazoles, and benzoxazoles, and 0.01-35 g/L derivative of an aliphatic amine, which is obtained from a reaction of an aliphatic amine having a carbon number of 2 or more with a glycidy compound. The galvannealing method is characterized by a galvannealing temperature of 20-70°C, and an average cathode current density of 0.1-40 A/dm 2 . COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
