Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to systems and methods for container security using a hopping mechanism. Methods include the steps of selecting a first virtual container associated with one or more software processes; replicating the first virtual container to create a plurality of replicated virtual containers, each of the plurality of replicated virtual containers a duplicate of the first virtual container, and the plurality of replicated virtual containers configured to run synchronously; generating a randomized hopping set that defines a set of replicated virtual containers from the plurality of replicated virtual containers, the randomized hopping set establishing a sequence of the set of replicated virtual containers in which to run the one or more software processes; and running the one or more software processes across the set of replicated virtual containers based on the sequence of the randomized hopping set.

Abstract: Presented herein are techniques to manage a data network. A method includes receiving, at a first network device, a request to establish a path through a network from the first network device to a second network device, in response to the request, determining, from among a plurality of potential paths between the first network device and the second network device, a longest acceptable path between the first network device and the second network device, and sending data from the first network device to the second network device via the longest acceptable path between the first network device and the second network device. Because the longest acceptable path is first selected by default, if and when that longest acceptable path fails, a failover path will likely be shorter than the longest acceptable path thus likely improving, e.g., overall latency for the data being sent.

Abstract: Dynamic configuration of Overlapping Basic Set Service Preamble Detect (OBSS/PD) parameters for an Access Point (AP) may be provided. First, a plurality of stations within a Spatial Reuse (SR) range of the AP may be determined. Next, Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) calculations associated with the plurality of stations may be performed to determine an SINR impact on the plurality of stations if the AP performs an SR transmission given OBSS/PD parameters currently configured for the AP. Then, based on the SINR calculations, the OBSS/PD parameters for the AP may be dynamically adjusted.

Abstract: Channel availability check optimization may be provided. A plurality of Pulse Repetition Intervals (PRIs) may be determined for a respective plurality of bursts on a respective plurality of frequencies. A list of at least a portion of the plurality of frequencies may be generated. The list may include a plurality of bias factors respectively indicating a probability that each of the respective plurality of bursts was a radar burst based on the respective plurality of PRIs. An Access Point (AP) may perform a plurality of preemptive Channel Availability Checks (CACs) on each of the respective plurality of frequencies on the list in order of highest probability to lowest probability based on the plurality of bias factors.

Abstract: Techniques for uplink scheduling in a wireless network are disclosed. A wireless access point (AP) receives, from a wireless station (STA), a buffer status report (BSR) reflecting data accumulated at the STA for uplink to the AP. The AP identifies, based on the BSR, a scheduling mode under which the data was accumulated at the STA. The AP schedules an uplink parameter for the STA, based on the identified scheduling mode. The uplink parameter relates to at least one of: (i) an uplink transmission for the STA or (ii) a buffer status poll for the STA. The AP transmits, to the STA, an allocation relating to the scheduled uplink parameter for the STA.

Another invention defines an apparatus (10) comprising a circuit breaker (18) transmitting power from a power input (15) to a socket (12) only if it is connected to a plug (14). The detection of the connection is made by a sensor (16). A method is defined covering both inventions.

Abstract: Techniques for optimizing technologies related to network path tracing and network delay measurements are described herein. Some of the techniques may include using an IPv6 header option and/or segment identifier field of a segment list or a TLV of a segment routing header as a telemetry data carrier. The techniques may also include using an SRv6 micro-segment (uSID) instruction to indicate to a node of a network that the node is to perform one or more path tracing actions and encapsulating the packet and forward. Additionally, the techniques may include using short interface identifiers corresponding to node interfaces to trace a packet path through a network. Further, the techniques may include using short timestamps to determine delay measurements associated with sending a packet through a network. In various examples, the techniques described above and herein may be used with each other to optimize network path tracing and delay measurement techniques.
