Abstract:
A device for the recycling of exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine in a motor vehicle. The device comprises an exhaust gas heat exchanger constructed with a first housing element with an inlet and an outlet for the exhaust gas and at least one inlet and at least one outlet for a coolant, and a compressor which is constructed with a second housing element with an inlet and an outlet for the exhaust gas. The first housing element of the exhaust gas heat exchanger and the second housing element of the compressor are constructed as a housing connected to a cohesive, compact component so that the exhaust gas heat exchanger and the compressor are arranged inside the housing.
Abstract:
A double pipe type heat exchanger includes an inner pipe having a first flow path defined therein and an outer pipe arranged around the inner pipe to define a second flow path between the inner pipe and the outer pipe. The inner pipe includes a spiral groove formed on an outer circumferential surface of the inner pipe to extend along a longitudinal direction of the inner pipe. The outer pipe includes a reduced diameter portion protruding inwardly so that the inner surface of the outer pipe is intermittently contacted with the outer circumferential surface of the inner pipe.
Abstract:
A heat pump system for a vehicle, which makes refrigerant bypass an external heat exchanger and turns off a fan mounted on the external heat exchanger when temperature of the outdoor air is lower than setting temperature and the vehicle enters into an idle state in a heat pump mode, thereby continuously operating the heat pump mode even in the below zero temperature so as to keep heating performance, reducing consumption of electrical power without needing to operate an electric heater, and preventing excessive noise of a fan when the vehicle enters into an idle state in the below zero temperature.
Abstract:
A tube and fin arrangement of an evaporator for an air conditioning system for a vehicle having a first row of tubes disposed within a flow of air having at least two refrigerant tubes and at least two thermal storage tubes in thermal communication with the at least two refrigerant tubes, each of the thermal storage tubes containing a phase change material. The tube and fin arrangement further includes a fm in thermal communication with the first row of tubes and configured to receive a flow of air therethrough.
Abstract:
A method for optimizing the regulation of an electric drive for machinery with specific torque behavior which periodically fluctuates significantly between extreme values specific to working points includes the step of implementing a characteristic field. A drive motor is provided for the electric drive with a permanent magnet rotor and a stator with a stator winding. The stator winding is energized with a three-phase alternating current across an inverter. Changes in the number of revolutions of the drive motor and the angle error are minimized by a correction of this phase current and a correction of the angular velocity. The characteristic field for the torque variation which is specific to the machine is implemented in the regulation algorithm of the inverter.

Disclosed are a heat exchanger and a method of manufacturing a heat exchanger. The heat exchanger may include a plurality of three-step tubes, each having a three-layered section and each having a liquid passage at a middle portion and module insertion spaces at opposite sides of the liquid passage, a plurality of thermoelectric modules inserted into the module insertion spaces, a plurality of cooling fins coupled to an outer surface of each of the three-step tubes, and an upper tank and a lower tank coupled to an upper side and a lower side of the three-step tubes to be fluidically communicated with the liquid passages of the three-step tubes. The three-step tubes and the cooling fins may be stacked laterally with respect to each other. The three-step tubes, the cooling fins, the upper tank, and the lower tank may be brazed by a same filler material comprising a metal.
Abstract:
A silencer for a vehicle air conditioning system is designed to reduce a noise and a vibration of a compressor transmitted into a vehicle room along coolant pipes. The silencer includes a silencer body tube and an external resonance tube. The silencer body tube is installed between the coolant pipes wherein a coolant gas flowing along the coolant pipes passes through the silencer body tube, the silencer body tube including one or more resonance holes formed on an outer circumferential surface of the silencer body tube. The external resonance tube is installed on the outer circumferential surface of the silencer body tube wherein a resonance chamber for absorbing a vibration and a noise of a coolant gas flowing through the silencer body tube is defined between the outer circumferential surface of the silencer body tube and the external resonance tube.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a scroll compressor in which refrigerant is compressed in a compression chamber while the volume of the compression chamber is gradually decreased due to relative rotation of a fixed scroll and an orbiting scroll. In accordance with the disclosure, the scroll compressor is provided in which a pressure in a back-pressure chamber is managed in connection with a discharge refrigerant pressure so that the orbiting scroll is supported by the pressure in the back-pressure chamber without a power loss or an inner leak in an overall pressure section of a scroll.
