    Abstract: 분산비디오코딩(Distributed Video Coding, DVC) 방법과장치에관하여개시한다. 일실시예에따른분산비디오코딩방법에서는전송채널의상황을지시하는다른계층에서의채널상황정보에기초하여 DVC 인코더에서의전송비트율을제어한다. 채널상황정보는패킷손실율(Packet Loss Rate, PLR) 및/또는가용비트율(available bitrate)일수 있다. 예를들어, 가용비트율이이전의가용비트율보다줄어들었거나, 패킷손실율이이전의패킷손실율보다증가한것으로판정되면, DVC 인코더에서는양자화파라미터(QP) 값을증가시켜서부호화를수행할수 있다. 또는, 패킷손실율및/또는가용비트율을이용하여 DVC 디코더에서수신되는비트율을계산하고, 디코딩에필요한패러티의비율과 DVC 인코더의양자화부에서의소스의크기를곱하여예측비트율을구한다음, 가용비트율과예측비트율을비교하여, 예측비트율이가용비트율보다클 경우에는양자화부에서의양자화파라미터(QP)의값을증가시킬수 있다.

The sub information generator predicts an original image to generate a plurality of sub information. The first turbo decoder generates decoded sub information by turbo-decoding each sub information. A bit selector receives decoded sub information and generate final sub information based on the frequency of toggles. The second turbo decoder is restored to original image data using partial information and final sub information about the original image data.
