Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for providing initialization information of a service along with scene configuration information and converting a whole or a portion of a scene while maintaining continuity of a media when the scene configuration information is applied to a multimedia service. The present invention relates to a method for providing information for a media exchange between terminals along with the scene configuration information, providing time point information according to the media exchange through an event, and defining exchange information for the media exchange between the terminals when the scene configuration information is applied to the multimedia service. Since the existing scene configuration information provides only the scene configuration information, two services are provided by different applications from each other to support the media exchange between the terminals, which may cause loads in the terminals. Furthermore, a mismatch of the media in watching which may occur due to the two services displayed in a single screen can reduce the service quality and the user experience. Therefore, the present invention provides the method for providing a multimedia service with scene configuration information and information required for the media exchange between terminals at the same time, providing information on whether to allow one or more media to be replayed in the other terminal, providing service type information on one or more media allowed to be replayed in the other terminal; and providing temporal/spiral information for one or more media received through the media exchange between the terminal while transmitting media resource information and the scene configuration information for the media exchanged between the terminals and defining an event occurred in both terminals when the transmitted media is acquired and returned. Abstract: PURPOSE: A scene composition information transmission and reception apparatus and method send in a multimedia communications system are provided to be usefully utilized if scene composition information is consumed in a broadcasting environment by transmitting and receiving the scene composition information including multimedia reset information in the multimedia communications system. CONSTITUTION: Composition information (CI) provides reset information of a multimedia service and maintains the continuity of a media in the conversion of a scene or a domain and independently composes and updates a part of the scene. A scene composition information transmitter produces scene composition information through a scene composition information producing unit and transmits the scene composition information through a transmission unit.
