Abstract: PURPOSE: A band joint is provided to prevent water from being leaked when fastening a band and to prevent the band joint from being eroded or oxidized caused by dirty water by fabricating the band joint using plastic or rubber. CONSTITUTION: A band joint(5) includes a stainless steel band(4). The band joint(5) is fabricated by integrally forming a fitting member with a coupling member. The band joint is used for varying a direction of a pipe or for installing pipes in various directions. A pipe is inserted into the band joint(5). In this state, the stainless steel band(4) is fastened so that the pipe is closely adjacent to the band joint(5). Accordingly, water is prevented from being leaked from the band joint(5). The fitting member is made of plastic or rubber, instead of iron cast. The band joint(5) absorbs vibration or noise so that vibration or noise is not transferred to other pipe.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A peeling machine is provided to peel the skin of vegetables such as carrots or potatoes more easily by installing a plurality of whirling projections on the upper side of a rotating disk, installing a brush on an inner wall of an inner barrel, and allowing the inner barrel to be rotated in a rotating direction opposite to that of the rotating disk. The rotating disk(50) is installed at the bottom of the inner barrel(30). The rotating disk(50) has a plurality of whirling projections(52) and a rotating disk brush(54). The whirling projections(52) are radially projected on the upper side of the rotating disk(50). The rotating disk(50) is connected to a rotating disk shaft and rotatable in a direction opposite to the rotating direction of the inner barrel(30). The rotating rod is installed at the upper side of the rotating disk(50). The rotating rod has a rotating rod brush installed therearound. The rotating rod rotates at an angular velocity equal to that of the rotating disk(50).
