Abstract: PURPOSE: A method and system for providing a template for an advertisement on the Internet is provided to easily manufacture advertisement and to insert the advertisement in a homepage by constructing the banner advertisement in accordance with one's intention using the Internet. CONSTITUTION: It is checked whether a template for manufacturing a banner advertisement is requested from a user PC(S100). If a template for manufacturing a banner advertisement is requested, the template for manufacturing a banner advertisement is provided to the user PC(S200). It is checked whether the template preparing user's input information is transmitted from a user PC(S300). If the prepared template is transmitted, a restriction of a user is checked(S400). If a connected user is restricted, a homepage of a banner advertisement manufacturing section is fed back(S500), and a search service of pre-stored banner advertisement data is provided(S600). If a connected user is not restricted, that is, the number of user connections is less than a predetermined number, new banner advertisement is created based on the currently used template and information inputted by the user(S700). A banner advertisement is inserted by transmitting the newly created banner advertisement to a PC storing a client program and the banner advertisement manufacturing section(S800).
