PURPOSE: A composition containing new serine protease having thrombolysis obtained by extraction and purification of Scarabaeidae as an insect is provided which is excellent in fibrinolytic activity and can be used as a therapeutic agent for treatment of diseases related with thrombus. CONSTITUTION: Scarabaeidae as an insect is soaked in a mixed solution of tris-hydrochloric buffer solutions and sodium chloride solutions, centrifuged and purified after extraction to produce serine protease. The serine protease has an amino acid sequence represented by an amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO:1 or 2 in Sequence Listing at the amino terminus, a molecular weight of 27,000 daltons and optimum activity in the range of 10 to 15deg.C and pH 5.0 to 10.0.

PURPOSE: A gryllidae extract having a liver protecting effect and alcohol detoxifying and antifatigue properties is provided. The product is a natural insect extract, it is thus effectively used as an agent for treatment of liver diseases and a tonic supplement food product. CONSTITUTION: A cricket(gryllidae) is freeze-dried and extracted in distilled water or methanol(ethanol), the extract is used in a food and a drug for improving liver function, promoting recovery from fatigue, improving a tonic effect, increasing alcoholysis(preventing hangover) and treating antioxidation related diseases(aging or dementia).

PURPOSE: Provided is a process for preparing α-glycosidase inhibitor derived from powdery silkworm, which has the same decreasing effect of blood glucose level as acarbose which is a conventional therapeutic agent for diabetes. CONSTITUTION: The process for preparing α-glycosidase inhibitor comprises the steps of: freeze-drying and powdering silkworm then adding 50% ethanol to extract it; performing cation exchange column chromatography with the extract then followed by eluting it with 0.5N of NH4OH and concentrating it; dissolving the concentrate in water then followed by performing anion exchange column chromatography. eluting with water and concentrating it; dissolving the concentrate in water then followed by cation exchange column chromatography, eluting with water and 0.5N of NH4OH to obtain 5 fractions obtain one fraction respectively; and performing anion exchange column chromatography with the second fraction among the 6 fractions to obtain pure 1-dioxynojirimycin fraction.

PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing silk power peptide by enzymatic degradation of silk fibroin. The peptide has a molecular weight of 12,000-13,000, polymerization of 163 and solubility of 70% at pH 1-13, and its internal absorptivity is thus high, so as to contribute to development of functional foods or medicines. CONSTITUTION: The method for preparing silk power peptide by enzymatic degradation of silk fibroin comprises the following steps of: (a) purifying silk fibroin by adding flavourzyme or a protein produced from Aspergillus oryzae and Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus thermoproteolyticus Rokko thereinto; (b) removing salt by adding calcium chloride and ethanol in the resultant and dialyzing them; and (c) obtaining powdered peptide by adding flavourzyme or a protein produced from Aspergillus oryzae and Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus thermoproteolyticus Rokko into the solution and then reacting and freeze-drying them.

PURPOSE: An α-glycosidase inhibition material from silkworm urine is provided, which shows nearly same α-glycosidase inhibition effect as the existing diabetes medicine, the Acarbose, thereby contributing to increase of farm income and enhancement of national health. CONSTITUTION: A process for the preparation of α-glycosidase inhibition material from silkworm urine comprises the steps of: filtering the silkworm urine, freeze-drying to get powder, and adding methanol(alcohol-precipitation); processing anion-exchange column chromatography with the methanol-soluble part to get active part; separating into methanol-soluble part and insoluble part to remove inorganic material in silkworm urine; adding water and acetonitrile to methanol-soluble part to separate into acetonitrile layer and water layer, and concentrating the water layer and separating into A, B and C fractions(1-deoxynojirimycin, fagomine, 1,4-dideoxy-1,4-imino-D-araviniton showing excellent α-glycosidase inhibition effect).

본 발명은 누에분말을 유효성분으로 포함하는 혈당강하제 및 그의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 좀 더 구체적으로, 본 발명은 누에를 질소가스로 산화방지 처리 및 동결건조하여 분말화하는 공정을 포함하는 누에분말의 제조방법과 그를 유효성분으로 포함하는 혈당강하제 및 건강보조식품에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에서는 4령기잠 내지 5령말 극대중 누에를 질소가스를 이용하여 산화방지처리 및 동결건조하여 전기혈당강하제의 유효성분인 누에분말을 제조한다. 본 발명에서 제조된 누에분말을 유효성분으로 포함하는 혈당강하제는 종래의 열풍건조시킨 누에분말보다 혈당상승 억제효과가 우수하였으며, 그를 사용한 당뇨병 치료 방법은 식후 혈당치의 최고 정점인 식후 45 내지 60분 사이에서 기존 제제들의 불일치(mismatch) 현상을 거의 보완하고, 90분이후에도 혈당량의 완만한 하강곡선 현상을 나타냄으로써, 식후 고혈당과 공복시 저혈당을 막을 수 있는 가장 이상적인 혈당량 조절방법임이 확인되었다.
