PURPOSE: An image display device, an image processing system and a channel map matching method of the same are provided to receive associated EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information related to channel map information. CONSTITUTION: An image processing device(10) comprises the first storage. A first storage stores channel map information. A media controller(30) controls at least one device on the network including the image processing device. The media controller comprises receiving unit and control unit. The control unit controls the receiving unit to receive associated EPG(Electronic Program Guide) information related to the channel map information.
Abstract:
A method for providing key code information and an image device to which the same is applied are provided to exchange only a supportable key code with an external device, thereby increasing compatibility between devices and reducing network resource waste. A TV determines whether the kind of a key code that a DVDR(Digital Versatile Disc Recorder) supports is changed(S310). If the kind of the key code is changed, a TV transmits a request message with regard to supportable key code information(S320). The supportable key code information includes key codes defined in HDMI CEC(High Definition Multimedia Interfaced Consumer Electronics Control) standards. The key codes in the HDMI CEC standards are Select(0x00), Up(0x01), Down(0x02), ... , F5(0x76), and Data-see Note 3(0x76). A value of the parenthesis is a value of a key code. In other words, Select corresponds to a key function and 0x00 is a code value of the Select key.

A service information providing method and an image device to which the is applied are provided to obtain service information that a connected external device provides, and provide a service list to a user based on the obtained service information, thereby conveniently using the image device. A DVDR(Digital Versatile Disc Recorder) obtains a physical address by performing HPD(HDMI Hot Plug Detection)(S315). A TV controller generates "Give Physical Address" requesting a physical address and transmits the message to a DVDR(S320). A DVDR controller generates "Report Physical Address" and transmits the message to a TV. The DVDR performs ping between the TV and another image device to obtain a logical address of the DVDR(S330). A logical address is allocated to the DVDR by performing ping(S335). The TV controller generates "Give Logical Address" requesting a logical address and transmits the message to the DVDR(S340). The DVDR controller generates "Report Logical Address" and transmits the message to the TV(S345).

A method for managing addresses and an image device applying the same are provided to prevent address collision among A/V(Audio/Video) devices when the other A/V device is connected to the predetermined A/V device while the A/V device connected to the predetermined A/V device enters a power save mode. A DTV(Digital TV) functional block(110) performs signal processes such as decoding and scaling for a broadcasting signal received from a broadcasting station. A DTV HDMI(High Definition Multimedia Interface)(120) is connected to perform communication with external devices(200-1,200-2). A DTV controller(130) obtains an address, and searches the external device using the same address as the obtained address among the connected external devices through the DTV HDMI interface when an address reset command is received from one external device connected through the DTV HDMI interface. The connected external devices is connected according to an HDMI CEC(High Definition Multimedia DTV HDMI interface Consumer Electronics Control) rule.

A method for controlling a service among network services, a network device capable of performing the same and a storage medium thereof are provided to control the other network device as well as the network device itself by using one network device. A method for controlling a service among network services comprises the following several steps. A network device requests service information to the other side network device(1001). If the network device receives the service information from the other side network device(1002), the network device checks the received service information(1003). If sending orientation information of one service, included in the received service information, expresses "out", namely an output service(1004), the network device checks whether there exists a corresponding input service at the network device(1005). If so, the network device integrates the output service information and the input service information into one service information(1006). Then, the network device checks whether there exists a service among the received service information which remains without performing a process of generating the integrated service information(1007). If the sending orientation information does not express "out" in the step 1004, the network device checks whether there exists a corresponding output service at the network device itself(1008).

A method and an apparatus for dynamically allocating IP(Internet Protocol) addresses in a wireless network are provided to enable a specific wireless network device to easily function as a DHCP server in a wireless network which is in an ad-hoc mode. An IP information module of a coordinator creates a network ID to be used in a coordinator-based wireless network(S605). A beacon frame creation module of the coordinator creates a beacon frame containing the created network ID(S610). A communication module of the coordinator transmits the beacon frame to a wireless medium(S615). As a communication module of a device, which tries to participate in the coordinator-based wireless network, receives the beacon frame, the device obtains information about the existence of a coordinator and the coordinator-based wireless network(S620). At this moment, a request module of the device creates a subscription request frame to participate in the coordinator-based wireless network(S625) and transmits it to the coordinator(S630). If the communication module of the coordinator receives the subscription request frame, the control module of the coordinator creates a logical address to be allocated to the device(S635,S640). A response module of the coordinator creates a subscription response frame containing the logical address(S645).
